Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, this item has actually been discontinued by the manufacturer as was detailed in our previous correspondence. It is not that we are being slow in getting it back in. This specific dog coat has been discontinued and no longer made.

Hard to put together as there weren't all of the pilot holes needed (took me 3 hours) and once complete it isn't secure because anyone can just reach I the top and take most parcels out.

The bench i bought was excellent quality but it did not fit together. I had to spen 3 hours modifying it

Item was broken and still waiting for a refunded after a five days of picking up I didn't receive any messages from them to say they have received it and had to get in touch with them to see when I be refunded and still waiting.

Pleased with the product once up but the instructions were minimal and caused delay. Delivery was an issue - delivery status was not updated until I chased it and was then informed it was arriving that same day when there was no one there to receive it. Was told the package would be left with a neighbour but it was left in the front garden. In addition there was a note with the package saying it was coming in two parts and the rest would be arriving later. Chestnut need to change their delivery partner as this is the reason for my rating. .

The potting shed we purchased arrived in a poor state with splits in the main panels, glass sections missing and still getting grips with whatever else may be missing

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about you issue with parts missing and damaged. You did e-mail us late on a Friday (day after this feedback) with the details of the issues and and we replied by 7am on the Monday. This is delivered directly by the manufacturers and so we passed the info onto them to contact you directly to resolve. We asked you to let us know if you had not received a satisfactory resolution within 24 hours. We were told by the manufacturer that they had contact you and resolved it. As we have not heard from you 15 days later we understand that this was all resolved quickly, efficiently and to your satisfaction? Please do let us know should this still not be the case. I trust after this you would agree whilst there was an issue with the building our customer service was excellent and we ensured your issue was dealt with promptly and effectively. Delivery man left a paper bag of horse feed in the rain which was then obviously ruined. Disappointed that it wasn’t packaged better

Not received the item yet delivery said 7 days when I got a the email to book delivery from the carrier The first available date was 5 th December We live in Leswalt near stranrare so suppose they have to get a load to make it worth the while the journey However may be this should be stated some where before ordering

Thank you for your review and order. I am sorry to see that you felt we only deserved 2 stars. We understand that waiting for your item can be frustrating, however this level of lead time was correct and live on the product listing at the time you placed the order, indeed it would have been showing 5 weeks at the time. Apologies if our feedback request e-mail caused any frustration or confusion as it is sent 14 days after purchase rather than once the item has been delivered regardless of what the advertised lead time is. We will review our e-mail to ensure this is made clear for future customers. We hope once it arrives you enjoy your garden building and thank you for your patience.

Further to our previous response and our subsequent communication via our info@chestnutmill.co.uk email address, I can confirm the missing glass panels are on their way to you and should hopefully be with you by Friday (please do let us know should they not arrive). It would appear you had previously e-mailed a no-reply e-mail in response to the feedback request, which we would of course not have seen or been able to respond to. We take great pride in our customer service and endeavor to respond quickly and effectively to all issues brought to our attention. Thank you for your feedback and bringing this issue to our attention. It would appear it had been lost from the original parcel after the couriers damaged the box. You should now have received the replacement bag that we have sent out. We will look into ways to reduce the likelihood of this happening again in the future.

I bought a corner arbour from Chestnut Mill which in fact was supplied by Shires. The product was advertised as being pressure treated and came with a 10 year warranty. In actual fact Shires treatment is for transportation purposes only and to qualify for 10 year warranty needs to have 2 coats of waterproof treatment applied before assembly. 2 coats is 5-6 litres of coating cost me £160 and the assembly also requires a silicone adhesive / gap filler not supplied to make the building watertight. The quality of the parts themselves I would score no more than 7/10 and one post is so badly split it will have to be replaced (still waiting at time of this review)

Very poor delivery time, quoted delivery as 7 days but in reality it was 35 days… Not exactly a small difference.

The product is good. The communication was poor. There was no indication of the delivery date or time but, one morning I received a message that it was coming that day. It is not something that can be left with the neighbour or pushed through the letter box. I tried to telephone the company but the phone was not answered. There is a chat service on the web site which I used but I had a reply saying it was not working. I sent an email and got an automated response saying they would answer within 24 hours. I had to alter my plans, which caused inconvenience, not only to me. The product arrived. The delivery man was good and friendly. I would have like a proper response from Chestnut Mill. Now I am being asked to give a review. I can't be more generous than giving two stars.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with our service. Unfortunately, we are not always able to answer every phone call or constantly man the chat function due to occasional staff shortages. For this I can only apologise. We did though respond to all of your messages within 3 hours. We are looking into why you did not receive a notification the day before of your delivery, but unfortunately, sometimes the parcel physically moves more quickly that the tracking updates. The message you received notifying you of the delivery on the date, should have given you the option to say you would not be in and to arrange a different delivery date, and at the time we understood from your messages that you had done this. I am glad you were happy with the product and would like to extend my most sincere apologies to you for any concern caused by the speed of the delivery arriving more quickly than you may have anticipated.
