Wed said 7 to 10 day delivery. Telephoned Chestnut Mill after 10days, they were NOT HELPFUL, all they could say was,, "we passed the order over to Spire, and said they could not help" Phone Spire, they had not even received the order. Order arrived 4 weeks later. The summer house is full of knot holes, doors do not meet. Not enough screws or roof felt tacks. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sad to hear that you have had such issues and would like to sincerely apologise for any failings you perceive us to have had. Customer service is our number one priority and we would certainly have never said we could not help. We will of course take your comments on board and look to improve our service and communication. I would though just like to add some points to your feedback. You have not informed us until this feedback of any structural issues with the building. If you can e-mail us some photos of the issues we should be able to get this addressed by the manufacturers for you. With regards to the delivery delay I would just like to detail the issues, reasoning behind them, and our actions. This building is delivered directly by the manufacturer as detailed on the product page and the delivery is booked directly with them. We were only aware of the issue once you contacted us 10 days after the order was placed, we are very sorry that this delay had happened. I can assure you the order was sent to them the very instant you placed the order as it is all automatic. By the time you had called we had even been invoiced and paid Shire Garden buildings. Unfortunately, there was a delay within their team moving it from the order system, to the logistics system (which is what the team you will have spoken to can see). They should never have told you that they didn't have the order and the Directors at Shire Garden Buildings have agreed this shouldn't have happened and pass on their sincere apologies. They had recently taken on new staff and this had caused some problems with orders being processed incorrectly and or slowly for a week or two. We would never say we couldn't help, but we will have said we couldn't book the delivery for you as it is not our delivery system, it is delivered directly by the manufacturers Shire Garden Buildings and we have no access to their logistics system. However this is not the same as not being able to help. We did hound Shire Garden Buildings to ensure you were contacted ASAP to book the delivery with them. I can see we sent multiple e-mails and made made multiple phone calls to chase this for you. Unfortunately, as 10 working days had passed before we were aware of the issue and it took a day or tow to get it sorted with Shire, the delivery did then have to be slotted into their existing schedule which resulted in another 7-10 days passing meaning delivery took 4 weeks.

Thank you for your order and Feedback. This order was for a Special Order Item and these do unfortunately take a little longer to come into our despatch warehouse. This should have been made clear on the product listing page, apologies if it was not and we will look into improving this side of things. Yours did, I see take a little longer than the approximate lead time shown, but unfortunately this is why it is an approximate time scale as there can be unforeseen delays occasionally. I am glad though that you were able to get your product and hope it serves you well.

Having ordered an apex steel shed 6x4 with base, we then had emails/text for various dates and disappointments on failure to deliver. We contacted Tim who informed the company they had instructed to supply and deliver to us that we were going to cancel the order after so many failures to deliver. This then prompted them to deliver as per text/email, which did arrive in good order. A big thank you Tim, but this should have not happened as we will be informing anyone who is thinking of purchasing sheds etc from Chestnut mill, to think again.

Thank you for your Feedback. I am very sorry that you had the issues with the cancelled deliveries. We understood from yourself and the supplier that the first one was due to snow stopping the delivery vehicle. There was then a subsequent cancelled delivery as the supplier was trying to fit your original delivery into their existing schedule, but they were unable to do so on the first attempt. It was at this point that you let Chestnut Mill know there was an issue and we took this up on your behalf. Within 24 hours we had secured you a confirmed new delivery date which was both successful and still within the originally advertised 10-15 working day lead time. Whilst we acknowledge having deliveries cancelled like this is extremely frustrating, we hope you were happy with the way Chestnut Mill dealt with the issue swiftly and effectively once it was brought to our attention.

The shed is good quality , easy to assemble, and I am happy with the purchase. Unfortunately I was not happy with the delivery service as I had taken time off work to receive the shed but the wrong item turned , a log shelter ! On putting it back on the truck and sending it back , it was left to me to chase everything up and sort redelivery out again taking time off work again.

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that you have had such an issue with the delivery of the shed. Unfortunately this is delivered directly by the manufacturers and we were not made aware of any issue until you contacted us on the 10th January. We did reply to this e-mail within 2 hours to apologise for the issues you had had and to confirm that we had spoken to the manufacturers and that they had apologised for the error, corrected it and would be calling you that same day to arrange delivery. I trust this was swift enough action taken by us once we had been informed of the issue. We take great pride in our customer service and would not want any of our customers to feel they had been left to chase everything in such a situation. I am glad to hear you are happy with the shed now that is has been successfully delivered and assembled. I do hope this experience has not put you off using our company again in the future.

Unfortunately the log store did not have any pre drilled holes which would have been preferable.

Sadly I ordered two of the same item in early December and only one turned up with the carrier, before Xmas, with some damage also. Could not get through to the seller at the time, so carrier took the item away. Now awaiting to hear when delivery of the two items can be made. Seller did come back to me but has only. been able to say the carrier will be in touch.

Thank you for your review. This is delivered directly by the manufacturer. You should have had an e-mail from them to book the delivery. Please can I ask you to check for this as the delivery can not take place until you have booked the delivery date with them. Only realised after I pressed pay, that delivery was 5.99, and fox food was 6.88. Could have got the same on Amazon prime 4.99 with no postage. Delivery was 3-5 working days, I was not impressed.

Had the product we wanted, and at a reasonable price. Though when my wife phoned to query just how well protected from the elements the product was, the reassurances she was given seem unrealistic.

I'm sure that the potting shed will be just what I need but it hasn't arrived yet. It is great that Chestnut Mill dispatch the order within a few days but, it's rather misleading, the couriers will take at least until the end of August to deliver it to me so not as efficient as expected! I'll rate the shed more accurately when it eventually arrives.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you feel miss-lead, the lead time is advertised at the top of the listing page as 49 days and is made to order. This has not been despatched, apologies if our order processed e-mail resulted in this confusion. It is delivered directly by the manufacturers own fleet of vehicles, this is who you have arranged the delivery date with. We hope you enjoy your potting shed when it arrives.

Unfortunately there was a pack of screws missing and the nails for the roof felt were too short to stay in so had to purchase longer ones to finish the play house

Unfortunately the 2 week lead time became 6/ 7 weeks after the order was placed making it a very late birthday present.

Thank you for your review. Please accept my most sincere apologies for the additional delay. Unfortunately there are occasions at peak times when the lead times of buildings can change with short notice as they are delivered directly by the manufacturer and there may sometimes be small short term discrepancies between the estimated lead time and the actual lead time. This is detailed on the product listing, however we understand that this will have caused disappointment on their birthday and will review our processes to do our best to ensure this information is correct and accurate as much as possible.

Ordered a metal arch for the garden. Arrived promptly. No instructions enclosed, but fairly easy to work out which screw went where. Unfortunately, the screw part of the fleur de lis that was supposed to screw down and connect both sides of the arch arrived bent and I was unable to use it to join the two sides. Instead, improvised by tying the two tops together with a binding. Not ideal, but too much of a pfaff to return, after getting the arch into position.
