I was not sent Jondo chick grit as ordered but a very fine grey grit instead. I am disappointed with my order.

Ordered 2 bags of feed and 4 days later they cancelled order! No explanation nothing.

Thank you for your feedback. I think you must be mistaking this order for one from a different company. We have only ever had 1 order from you, for 1x bag of Winergy Equilibrium Low Energy 20kg. This was placed on the 17th March and according to the tracking delivered on the 18th March at 14:30. Arrived damaged. Split timber and feather edged. Disappointed and want refund and collection of item!

Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that you had such problems with your delivery. Unfortunately as it is a natural product wood can sometimes warp and split after it has passed quality control by the manufacturer. For this I can only offer my most sincere apologies. As this is an Overlap construction which is detailed in the title and listing all of the boards would have feathered edges as this is how an overlap shed is made and is to be expected. Upon receiving your initial e-mail detailing the issues we responded within 24 hours. We offered to either replace or collect the building and had a collection arranged within 2 working days for a date chosen by yourself. I trust you would agree although you are disappointed with the product, our customer service has been friendly and efficient in getting you a satisfactory resolution to your problem.

Ordered an arbour which was delivered by Shires and one piece was damaged. Driver advised any problems phone Shires. Two weeks later still waiting for a replacement and keep being told different things. Have tried numerous times to speak with Chestnut Mill but no-one answers the phone. Can’t really build an arbour seat when one of the main posts is split in half.

I am also very sorry that you have not managed to get through on the phone, we do our best to answer the phone, but we are not always able to do so. We have though not received any voice mails or e-mails from you to let us know there was an issue to address. Had you done so we would have ensured this was resolved ASAP for. Haylage I received was all off. I tried three times to contact you with no reply. Then you ask if I would review. You’ve said you are a family business and a review would be important to you. You don’t get back to customer’s quickly enough when they have a problem, but you are happy to take everyone’s money

Thank you for your review. We did contact you at the time to apologise for the issue you had experienced. You e-mail letting us know there was an issue with the delivery had unfortunately gone into our spam folder and we did not see the e-mail for a little while. We have taken steps to ensure this does not happen again. Please accept my most sincere apologies for the issue you had. Unfortunately, deliveries do sometimes go wrong. We do though take great pride in our customer service and would always look to get a speedy and agreeable solution for our customer in this instance. In this situation this would usually be a quickly actioned refund or a replacement parcel. I am sorry we were unable to do this more quickly for you. As you will see from our many 5 star reviews, this level of service is something we usually excel in.

I still haven’t received my parcel. DPD have been emailing me daily saying that it is delayed another day, I have tried ringing them to find out where the parcel is and they are no help whatsoever simply telling me there is nothing they can do they are experiencing delays. I can understand a day or two but it’s been three weeks. I would like a refund or a new one sending ASAP as it’s been over 3 weeks since I first ordered

Thank you for your review. I am happy to say that this issue did get resolved. Unfortunately, the original e-mail did get stuck in our spam folder. We have since put in protocols to hopefully avoid this in the future. The parcel went missing during the very difficult pre-season period when DPD were having huge issues nationally. As soon as the issue came to light with this particular parcel we quickly arranged for a new parcel to be delivered ASAP. Thank you for the patience and understanding you showed in our correspondence regarding the issue since you first raised it. I am very sorry that DPD and their contact centre also did not perform as expected.

Thank you for your feedback I am sorry to hear you feel you have received such poor service. As I am sure you will agree, based on our other reviews, customer service is something we take very seriously and great pride in. I can see that we have responded to all of your e-mails within 24 hours (except ones sent on a weekend). Your initial e-mail included no order information and was not from the original e-mail used for the order, which made dealing quickly with the issue difficult. As discussed in our last e-mail, DPD have finally notified us that the parcel has been damaged and we have immediately sent out a replacement for you as well as a good will gesture of refunding the difference between the standard and Express delivery charges.

Gardening gloves ordered 27th November. No tracking number provided and gloves not received. Sent 2 emails and left phone message and no response.

Thank you for your review. Apologies for any confusion when you received our review request. This is automatic and sent 14 days after all order. Your item was on a 30 day lead time as advertised on the product listing page. I believe this was delivered on time within the 30 days. Please do let me know if there are any further issues with the delivery.
