“I haven’t fully made up my mind whether to use again. Some of the order was good and some was disappointing. The packaging on the lorne sausage wasn’t sealed and the sausage was loose in the box. Haggis was delicious, threw the chicken away because of the date and having the steak tonight.”

“I was looking for a butcher to replace my current butcher who charges £32 for a full lorne sausage. First time trying Campbells an I ordered a steak lorne and an Ayrshire lorne. My wife and I tried the steak lorne and both found it to be very tasty however a couple of inedible pieces of gristle detracted from the enjoyment. I will continue with the remainder of the steak lorne and the Ayrshire lorne however if the gristle continues to be a problem I won’t be placing any further orders with Campbells.”

“I am currently giving 3 stars as I have not had everything from my wee gift box as yet. I had my first 2 pies which were absolutely gorgeous, however the next 2 had largish pieces of bone in which put me off.”

“Delivery was scheduled for Saturday 30th December...didn't arrive till late Sunday morning. upset. oven schedule....first time slight problem with delivery....meat quality excellant as usual...happy new year”

“This would have rated 5/5 however, the order arrived on time in Cornwall but the chicken fillets in the midweek meal deal were rancid. Campbells quickly acknowledged their responsibility and I was compensated appropriately. So they get 3/5. Will I use them again. Almost certainly.”

“Always enjoyed products from Campbell Ltd just received the latest batch, and found out the use by date on mini pies is 13.12.2023 ,and to be honest they did not taste to your usual standard”

“The chicken thighs were well packed although very watery. The same went for the salmon fillets. I order regularly from Campbells Prime Meat Ltd. BUT!!! If I don't order for a while, I am pestered with emails. When I ordered this last batch, I was yet again pestered the very next day. I will continue to order, but please stop the emails requesting my next order(s). I only order WHEN I need.”

“Not tried all of it yet,only lamb leg chops and Barnsley chops and beef sausages ,chops very thin and small.not keen on beef sausage not much flavour and a bit grissly. Will have to try the rest”

“I have bought it with Campbell's Meats and was delighted with the quality. However, this time order was delayed til the next day. Which made me a bit wary of how long the order was waiting to be delivered, and if the meat was ok. I'm sure it will be fine but just made me cautious about it being delivered the next day.”

“Meat is good quality but very expensive and then they have raised the free delivery threshold to £70. When it was £40 I used to buy regularly but now it is £70 I only buy when there is an offer back to £40 and discounted prices”

“Whilst I have no issues whatsoever with the quality of the product, or its packaging, Campbells choice of carrier is dismal. DPD, their chosen carrier for our part of the country, dropped our last parcel at another address, sent us an image of the doorway and claimed it had been delivered. Using the DPD feedback App the image was quickly deleted by DPD when we advised this was not our address and no further action was taken by them to help us secure our delivery. Utterly useless and, sadly, with zero confidence in Campbells carriers we will need to order elsewhere in future.”

“Generally l get an amazing service with quality products but l was disappointed with the size of Lamb chops ( restricted offer) only being allowed 1 portion would not be sufficient at that size l would need 3 chops for a meal. Regards Tom”
