“Bit disappointed this time to be honest. Found the steak square sausage to be extremely oily definitely wasn’t like that last time, shame.”

“The square sasuage was to thick put haven't tried outher packs had the chicken and it just started like normal chicken love square sasuage I little bit thin er I will order again like pies and black pudding but the free delivery of £75 is to big for one person .can u get plan bread”

“The food I got delivered was good. However I tried to get the chicken on promotion but the system wouldn't let me do it. The young lady replied to say the promotion was finished anyway. I got a txt the next day saying the chicken promotion was back on really!! Bit disappointed to say the least.”

“The black pudding was one of the best I have tasted. The sauces for the steaks were tasty as were the pies. However the steak and Sausage was tough, so won't buy again. Sorry.”

“This was my first order with you. Have already tried the Lorne sausage, and it's great. The one suggestion I'd like to make is that customers are given the chance to opt out of substitutions being sent if an item they've ordered happens to run out - I was a bit disappointed to receive plain pork sausages instead of the pork and haggis ones I'd been looking forward to. The courier also left my parcel at an address several miles away from my home, but that's not your fault!”

“The turkey breast was very good and we enjoyed it very much. The transportation of it was frustratingly bad because you did not put the full address on the parcel. The first line of our address was missing, so the driver had no idea which house we live in of the many in Alderley Park. The carriers were extremely unhelpful and refused to contact the driver to give him the missing information. In consequence, the parcel was a day late arriving, which only happened because I phoned your office and you informed the carrier of the complete address (which I had already given them a day earlier) You also confirmed that you did have my full address with the original order.”

“This quality was not as good as the previous Unfortunately quality of the sausage looks like you would purchase in a supermarket or freezer shop not directly from a butcher as my experience with you previously. More pink than usual and tastes not as good as the previous”

“Sorry but I was quite disappointed with the meat box I got. The Scottish pies were tiny and the steaks weren’t much bigger. For £70 odd that I paid I expected better.”

“Unfortunately, I did not receive the parcel. I have raised the issue and requested a refund or sending another parcel with fresh meat. If DPD attempt a delivery on Monday, I will reject the delivery. As this is not Campbells Meat's fault, I tried not leave a star rating but it turns it is compulsory, so I went for the middle 3-star rating because I had a prompt response when I raised the over three days delayed delivery.”

“Generally always good quality and value, However having ordered the scotch mince pies before and very happy. I find on this current order the scotch pies were somewhat smaller than usual and no bigger than a 4 pork pie snack pack from Tesco’s. Very disappointing.”

“I have just received a meat order totalling £145. Having read the source of individual items on the website, I expected all of the products to be from Scottish origin, or at the very least the UK. Imagine my disappointment to find the source of the chicken and bacon in the 'box' items are from mainland Europe. Similar to budget supermarket lines. I shall not buy these again.”

“I was not happy with the 3-day use-by dates order arrived 21st most dates were use by the 23rd 0r 24th I phoned to check this and was told that was acceptable.”

“I was very pleased with the delivery service and packaging which insured the pies reached me in good condition, even on a very hot day. I have to say, though, that I was a little disappointed that there was only at 18% meat content. I had expected more. For comparison, a Fray Bentos, steak and kidney pie has 25% meat. The pie was tasty and I enjoyed it.”
