Most disappointed with the delivery. Whilst explicitly instructed otherwise the carrier deposited the whole box in a communal area . It was shere chance I found it . Meat so far has been good

I live in northern ireland and usually visit my sister in the scottish borders every year. I always look forward to having a scotch pie or two and always bring some home with me. I wasn't able to get over this year so decided i couldn't wait another year to have one so was happy that i was able to order some from campbell's meats. We don't seem to be able to buy any over here the past 7-8 years as there isn't a supply coming in. The pies didn't dissapoint and are delicious. Thanks again for making your products available for delivery to northern ireland. Looking forward to trying the black pudding that came with my order too. Order did arrive a day late and was worried about the freshness but they seem ok.

Whilst never advertised as suppliers of purely British meat and products, the leaning is that way. So it was disappointing to discover the chicken came from Germany and was processed and packed in Holland. The chicken was a good product but I was hoping Campbells would be supporting British farmers and producers as well as keeping the transport distances lower.

I filled out the necessary details on Saturday for a delivery the following Wednesday. Wednesday came with no detail about a delivery so I contacted Campbell’s and eventually they told me the delivery was not on Wednesday but the following day ie Thursday and before 12. Not happy but accepted this. Thursday morning came but no delivery and then told it would be after 12 which meant the meat had been out for delivery for more than 48 hours and would be spoilt. Campbell’s arranged for delivery to be returned to them and agreed to organise a new delivery the following week. I await this delivery. So in summation, if delivered when promised, it has taken 11 days from ordering for my delivery to come 65 miles from the seller to where I live. Would be quicker to walk there and back. Even if the meat is good, it is doubtful that I would order again, or recommend Campbell’s Prime Meat to anyone. Very very poor delivery service. Unfortunately customer service and communication poor too.

Okay so, I think people get it wrong at times - we base a business on what they do right which is not what happened here. This is about what THEY DO WHEN IT GOES WRONG! My order was dropped off at the wrong house by no fault of Campbells but the courier company. I didn't get it till days later but Campbells grabbed the bull by the horns so to speak and arranged a replacement. Now, to me, it's irrelevant what the product quality is although I'm sure it will be outstanding, it is about the service on the back end of it. Well done and thank you. Looking forwards to the tasty meat!

Excellent service. Ordered buffet pies and 3 packs of different sausages. Everything was delicious and the pies went in no time at a family party. Everything was packed to perfection and delivered as promised. Thanks for a great service.

The beef is fine so is the fish, use to buy chichen but wont anymore as always found some sort of liquid in with the packing, put me off buying chicken, wont buy the sausage or black pudding anymore, put on loads of weight and the fat in them is not a healthy fat, might be some kind of Lard, cooked them in my air fryer and the fat had turned white so looks like lard, only buy beef and fish now

The steak was cut far to thin and it was tougher than my trainers.no flavour.. worst steak ever bought.thats if it was. Steak.
