“I was expecting this to be in a presentation box as I wanted to give it as a gift. The items were all just loose which was a shame.”

“The peanut nougat was lovely. Not so much the choc wafer. Not that it matters, as everything is now seemingly sold out. If you can't sort out your supply, then you will have a lot of unhappy customers who will not order from you again. Like myself!! And I certainly won't be recommending you to anyone due to your unreliability of availability of many of your products.”

Hi Hannah, Thanks for you review - we're so pleased to hear you enjoyed our Peanut Nougat bar. We did temporarily pause sales on our website this summer, as we had a team member leave unexpectedly and did not want to risk poor customer service (delayed or incorrect orders) during a period where we didn't have adequate staff numbers. We're just a small business, so hope you can understand why we made that decision. Nonetheless, everything is back up and running as normal with loads of Christmas stock ready to go :-) Team Buttermilk

“I bought the Hot Choccy bomb for my daughter who has a milk and tree nut allergy, the information on the website stated it was produced in a factory that uses nuts but when the product arrived it stated the that it “may contain” nuts which is unsuitable for my daughter, I therefore will have to send the items back. I can see that the website info has now been changed.”

Unfortunately, there was an error on our website regarding the allergy statement. We really apologise for this and take this very seriously, hence why it was promptly updated. However, we're very glad to hear you took the time to read the product label, which is what we always advise, as this will be accurate. “Product was sent twice to wrong address. No reply from emails sent to Buttermilk. Paid again for order was sent to wrong address, redelivered by post office as rerouted by wrong addressee. Item itself was greatly received and was informed the chocolate was lovely once finally received no idea what happened to first?”
