“I wanted to know which model of cleaner would be suitable for cleaning the Weber carburettor on a 50 year old classic sports car that I'm restoring. So I called Ultrasonic Cleaners Ltd. The lady I spoke to said someone from the tech department would get back to me. Shortly I had a call from Ben Pilkington, the owner of the company. He gave me a lot of advice, explaining the differences between some of the models and recommended the DK Sonic 600D as being capable of doing the job and also fitting my budget. It arrived the next business day, well packed, with a complementary bottle of carb cleaner concentrate. The first time the carb went into the cleaner, I set the timer for 1 hour and the results were amazing. 50 years of dirt, varnish and old petrol deposits had gone. To be absolutely sure, I turned the carb around and gave it a second clean. It now looks almost like new (see the photos). I'm very impressed with the quality of the ultrasonic cleaner, the power of the carb cleaner liquid and the personal service given by Ultrasonic Cleaners Ltd.”

“Purchased initially to strip and clean a troublesome carburettor. Only just done this hence delay in writing review. The contrast in cleaning solution before/after proves cleaning effectiveness and, pleased to say, the engine started first time after reassembly.”

“After a very helpful conversation I was advised towards an appropriate model cleaner for my independent garage wksp. I settled on a slightly larger capacity analogue option & put it straight to work using the recommended detergent solution. My test piece was a 1950s Solex carburettor. Very happy Indeed with the results achieved. Great service, advice & value for money was provided. Very happy with this new equipment & I'm definitely going to put it to good use with various future projects. Highly recommended. (Boa Rebuilds. Ampfield. Hants)”

“Firstly, great communications. If you want a chat about their products they will call you back. Delivery is next day. Secondly the product is so far working well. I've only been using it for domestic purposes, for hard to clean kitchen tools to get them hygienic again, gas hob burners, home brew taps, stainless steel watch bracelets, all sorts of items. Yesterday, it was a bit messy and took a couple of changes of water, but I did what my girlfriend thought was impossible and got all of the emulsion paint out of a couple of rollers that she'd been using. She was impressed and the rollers are saved from land fill. So long as I get long term reliability I'm really happy with the cleaner.”

“Best ultrasonic cleaners ltd was recommended to me by a friend who has been a jeweller most of his life so I knew they must be good, they sell a massive range of top of the range ultrasonic cleaners and they give you advice and help when you ask and I chose the 6 litre analogue and it is so powerful and really is an amazing machine, they sent it out quickly and even threw in a free bottle of solution, I would definitely recommend them to anyone!”

“I have only, so far, used the device for cleaning records. It appears to do this very well. The noise level is by no means obtrusive and I am able to listen to music while the cleaner is operating in the same room on full wave. The quality of construction seems good, and the layout of controls and display is excellent. I intend to buy a second machine for my son who will use it for cleaning his large collection of LPs. “Recently purchased a £L DKSonic cleaner from Best Ultrasonic Cleaners. Had a question prior to purchase that was answered quickly. Website checkout was very smooth and the cleaner was delivered promptly. Very pleased with it, gave a grubby Dellorto DHLA carb a much needed clean. Highly recommended, would use again. 10/10.”

“I chose a sale model 2 litre ultrasonic as I am a hobby working jeweller and didn’t require anything large. Its perfect for my needs. I also chose a manual model as I think digital is just another component that can go wrong over time. It was very well packaged and arrived reasonably promptly.”

“I'm Amazed that you are requesting a review, I have spoken to you twice now regarding the free bottle of carb cleaner you say every machine purchase comes with and yet I have never received mine, yes I am aware that 1 litre will not suffice in a 22l tank, but that's not the point here, Do not offer customers incentives that you have no intention of sending out! It's the small details that matter here, get them right and you could gain a customer for a long time here, If you cannot achieve such a small gesture, how do you think that makes me feel about your reliability if something went wrong with the machine!”

Hi Grez. The offer clearly states "add 1 Ltr of fluid to your shopping basket and you won't be charged". That is how the free offer is set up. And it works. Maybe I need to change the wording? With your online order, you didn't add any fluid, therefore the warehouse staff get an order for a machine and nothing else. We sell several types of cleaning fluid (jewellery, carburettor, glass, soldering, scuba diving etc). If you don't add any to your order, we simply don't know which fluid you need. Where we messed up is not responding to your phone messages. My apologies. I'll contact you to sort it out. Regards, Bill Pilkington.

“I really like the cleaner I got but I wish I got a bigger one. I thought the 10 litre one would be all I needed but I wish I got the 30ltr one. Anyway I've cleaned a few things. I got engine carb cleaning fluid made for ultrasonic cleaning and it worked great. I cleaned a diesel injector tips but to save wasting fluid I used glass jars for them and other parts and just plain water for the bath. The 30 min max timer could have been more like an hour as I like to make sure what I'm cleaning is cleaned thoroughly. One thing I have done is cleaned rust off parts using citric acid. The ultrasonic bit doesn't do much but the heater and stainless steel bath is good for the job. After 24 hrs the bath was undamaged and my parts were rust free. By using the bath I could keep the acid warm which helps loads. One last thing the basket has rubber feet on and one of them kept coming off so I replaced them all with shrink tubes for electric wiring. A couple of layers of that and its all good.”

“I originally ordered a manual 6 litre unit which although shown as in stock proved to be out of stock. Bill Pilkington stepped in afgter a week or so and resolved the issue by sending me a higher spec unit at the original price. The unit arrived the next day and works extremely well, so I am happy to recommend Best Ultrasonic.”
