Our double layered fabric technique used in the majority of our party dresses, creates a fit similar to shapewear. “Wow, what I can say. So I've been keeping an eye on AYM for a while and thinking about what styles I would like to try and I've finally bitten the bullet for a wedding and I am not disappointed. With the purchase of one dress, shipping was lightening fast and when it arrived it looked just as stunning on me (short but curvy woman) as it did on the models. I honestly feel like a goddess in it, it's given me a real confidence boost for the event. I love what the business stands for in terms of sustainability and local makers and I will 100% be buying again.”

“Hello! The tracking number on my order stopped updating and I've been waiting for the order for over a month. I contacted Customer Support who offered to send a new one. I initally accepted, but waited a week to receive a new tracking number and notice that the order was shipped but never received it. I emailed back to ask for a refund instead of a new order due to recent news of border shipping problems but haven't heard back. While I understand that it takes time to respond to customer emails, it is frustrating to be constantly left unaware of whats going on with no sense of urgency or care from Customer Support. I am still waiting to hear about my order refund and look forward to hopefully received an update soon. The dresses on your site are beautiful and while shipping problems are not always the fault of the store, I am unhappy with Customer Support's lack of urgency in responding to my emails or addressing my issues.”

“I ordered Juni maxi dress in forest green color and matching ballet wrap top and absolutely loved what arrived. The material is very comfortable and color very beautiful (I wish they would make more dresses in this color), thanks to the stretchiness fits me like a glove. I will definitely order more dresses from AYM.”

“The dress fits wonderfully! My only criticism is how it was shipped, for the quality and price I wish it shipped with more care. The fabric is prone to wrinkles and it was balled up in a bag. It's just small details like that, that I appreciate. But other than that the color is beautiful, it drapes so well and hugs the right spots. It is hand wash only so be aware of that as well!”

“BEAUTIFUL dress and great customer support! I purchased the Cleo dress to wear on my birthday and it is the most flattering dress I own. The dress is elegant, practical (pockets!), ethically made, and felt comfortable before and after a feast. I just ordered a similar AYM dress to gift my mother for her birthday, too! I was concerned that the comfortable bamboo fabric may look too casual, but the tailoring and drape make the fabric look elegant. For larger chested ladies- the wide, long halter straps are supportive and don’t cause neck pain like some thinner straps. I asked their customer service if they would be making a matching bamboo wrap top in the same color, and they quickly confirmed that they will be making one this fall.”

“LOVE this dress!! I bought it for my bridal shower and got so many compliments! I’ve bought from AYM before and it’s the only brand I can buy online and KNOW it’s going to fit perfectly! This dress was so comfy and not see-through. I was afraid it would be too long as I’m on the short side (5’2”), but it was perfect with heels!”

“My name is Liudmila and I am finally ready to share my experience of ordering from your store. I have been following your Instagram page for quite some time and finally decided to purchase one of the dresses as a birthday gift for myself. I was really looking forward to receiving the parcel, but unfortunately almost everything that came afterwards turned out to be a disappointment. First of all, I was expecting a more thoughtful and creative approach to packaging considering the price I paid. The dress cost me almost €200 including delivery (which might not be considered very expensive in the UK, but it certainly is for me personally), so I was hoping for something more than a crumpled dress placed in a plastic bag inside a box. Second, the quality of the dress leaves much to be desired. Immediately after wearing it for the first time, the skirt started to pill on the inside, and after the second wear I noticed that the top was pilling just as badly as the skirt. Third, it is practically impossible to dry the dress naturally and horizontally as the label suggests. The part of the Venus dress made of a large amount of gathered fabric with many small pleats is extremely difficult to dry properly. It takes days, during which the material develops an unpleasant smell. I even had to use a hair dryer to finish drying it. That being said, there are some positive aspects: the delivery was impressively fast, and at least I was able to wear the dress once before the fabric started to pill. It truly pains me to rate my overall experience as only 2/5, but I am afraid that reflects the reality. Thank you for taking the time to read this. This is not the standard we strive to provide, and it’s very upsetting to hear that the fabric has pilled so quickly after only one wear, as this is not something we have seen happen with this style before. In terms of care, we always recommend air drying the Venus dress hanging up rather than flat, as the fabric is thick and this helps avoid it remaining damp for too long. “I thought the dresses were beautiful, I think a lot has gone into the design which was thoughtful with pockets, being reversible, double fabric and being able to pull the waist in. The dresses are incredibly flattering and I love that there are different lengths available. The downside is the fabric. It’s the type of fabric that (unless you get a dark colour)will absorb and show water quickly. So if you accidentally splash water on yourself or, more embarrassingly, if you were to sweat, it would show up very clearly. It was this reason that I chose not to keep the dresses I ordered for an event.”

“Love the dress. The material is thick, heavy, and super nice. Double lined which was an added bonus. Neckline was perfect to still be able to wear a bra without the straps showing. Will definitely be purchasing more from AYM in the future.”
