“Bears nice as expected from Steiff. Nicely packaged and arrived in very good time. I ordered from World of Bears as I previously had good service. However the cost of the gift box and particularly postage made the bears very expensive. Previously the box and the postage were free.”

Thank you for your review, Steiff Boxes are a little extra to make the perfect gift, which is shown on each product page, and unfortunately we cannot offer free next day services by DPD to Northern Ireland, we do offer free standard tracked by Royal Mail for orders over £35.

“I bought a ‘My First Bear’ for my second granddaughter from you. I bought the first Bear from a shop and can in a free Box the same size as the Bear. Your Bear was delivered with a Box, which I’d paid extra for, which was approx half the size of the Bear. Consequently the Bear was folder and squashed into the Box. Very disappointing for my second granddaughter.”

Thank you for the feedback, the box provided was the correct one, with the bear slightly sitting in it, the next size up is huge, we have fed this back to Steiff to see if different size boxes can be made, but at this time these are the sizes and have been for some considerable time im afraid.

“Friendly service, would make it clear on the site that free shipping is only available in the standard shipping not fast track. When i went throw and added first item it then says your only 25 from free freight. Added it thinking id get free freight.”

Thank you for your response, I have double checked shipping and it is clearly shown what the shipping rates are, upgraded expediated shipping however is not free :)

“After purchasing a bear for one of my grandchildren I forgot to ask for the presentation box,which I have always done on previous purchases. I rang world of bears to ask if I could buy a box And was told I couldn't have one as they might get damaged in transit. I have bought many items from different suppliers With hardly anything in the box's and have no issues with them. Very disappointed as I said I would gladly pay for it.”

Thank you for your feedback, I have checked your order and the option to have a Steiff Presentation Gift Box was not selected on checkout, unfortunately we do not sell this separately due to the cost of packaging and shipping.

Thank you for your feedback, Your steiff bear was delivered wrapped in acid free tissue, in a steiff gift box, packaged further to protect from damage during shipping. Shipped 31/7 on date of receipt of order on 2 day service, delivery attempted 2/3/4th August was dropped of at DPD collection point and collected 6/8. DPD provide options to leave in safe place, neighbour, etc, after 3 attempted deliveries it will be dropped off at a collection point for your convenience.

“I don't know what I was expecting but I thought it would of at least come packaged nicer. The bear was in a box that was to small and just wrapped in a piece of tissue paper. Presentation means everything.”
