“A little disappointed with overall packaging. Item bought was expensive, box was broken (item luckily not damaged) nothing protecting item, no bubble wrap or the like. Considering make of item thought a gift box would been included. Noticed after purchasing that gift boxes are available but at an extra cost. Noticed after purchasing very professional.”

Thank you for feedback, I am glad the cardboard mailing box protected the Giraffe, looking at the delivery picture looks like Royal Mail had unfortunately crushed this parcel and others and had placed the various parcels in a plastic bag to protect them. I will pass this feedback back to our account manager. I am however glad the mailing box protected the giraffe. Gift packaging options are offered on checkout which were not taken up, we offer this as an option as indicated. We also choose the most appropriate packaging doing what we can to support the environment. Glad you liked the Giraffe Regards Customer Services

“A bit disappointing. Delivery was first of all delayed. When the delivery was scheduled ,the carrier did not arrive during the timeslot given in the tracking (arrived 2-3 hours later). This item was a surprise gift for a family member. I had been watching out for the delivery throughout the timeslot to collect the package. Unfortunately, because of the delay, the parcel was collected by the family member for whom it was a surprise gift. Imagine my reaction when I found that the cardboard box in which the item was packed was covered in very large, very prominent and extensive "World of Bears" writing. What idiot came up with that Idea!. I do a great deal of online shopping and have NEVER come across this before. So NOT A SURPRISE GIFT after all! For this alone, as a matter of principle, I will never purchase anything from you again.”

Thank you for your feedback Royal Mail provide an estimated time slot only, which is not guaranteed, the standard shipping can be upgraded to special delivery if more accurate time window is required. Our boxes are printed with our return address, no different to other companies, so if parcel is lost / addressee problems it can be returned to sender without opening Regards Customer Servuces 🐻

A selection of Gift boxes are available on the site for purchase, we do not automatically include these due to cost of box, packaging and shipping, so offer of an option for customers wishing to upgrade. “Molto efficienti nel comunicare costantemente lo stato dell'ordine. Purtroppo alla consegna sono stati addebitati altri €20 di dogana che non erano previsti. Sarebbe stato meglio comunicarlo al momento dell'ordine.”

thank you for your feedback, as per our site import duties, clearance fees etc will be charged by local customs, in this case italy. grazie per il tuo feedback, secondo il nostro sito i dazi di importazione, le spese di sdoganamento ecc. verranno addebitati dalle dogane locali, in questo caso l'Italia.

“Lovely and affordable products, however being forced to spend £20 before I could place my order, and then having added postage on top of that, really felt like a kick in the teeth. I only proceeded with my order as it was for my young nephew's birthday.”

Thank you for your feedback, Our shipping and charges are transparent on our site, dispatched on the Monday after receiving the order over the weekend, received the next day Tuesday on next day service by courier, we offer Click and Collect which is free, and a cheaper option of Ship to Shop for your convenience. “Tbh, for £160 teddy I had expected the bear to be delivered in decent packaging. It arrived with no padding in a shabby 2nd hand box, had I known I would have ordered from a different store…Harrods”
