“I had a replacement gym cable manufactured to a specific size. The cable was perfect except the bolt was not fitting my machine to secure the weight dolly. The cable was returned with my original bolt and the job was completed. Delighted to say the least as the cable runs better than the original.”

“I've had a Total Gym XLi for five years and it is brilliant. However, if you use these amchines rather than use them as a clothes rack there will be wear, particularly on the weakest (and most often) load bearing point - the pulley cord. The plastic coating on mine started to crack, and the steel rope inside began to fray. It was obvious that a few more uses would see it break and leave the machine unusable. So, I contacted Total Gym. Surprise, surprise, they don't do spares but the kindly offered to sell me a new machine for £999. I had to think about this, and whilst I did I found SWR. At £54 for what seemed a reasonable replacement part I thought it was worth a gamble (I'm sure Total Gym would still take my money if it didn't work!) The rope arrived quickly and frankly appears to be exactly what the Total Gym people use! Perfecly easy job of swapping the part and I effectively have a new machine at virtually a twentieth of the cost. Highly recommended.”
