“winstons were responsive to any contact I made and efficently organised their side of the paperwork. However the buyers solicitor/buyer were very slow to respond and I had to continually push Winstons and my estate agent chase them. I understand it was not their end causing the issues but I would've appreaciated them been more proactive. It felt all left to me.”

“We were very pleased with the process overall. The solicitor we were allocated seemed personable and well informed. Our meetings were held in a large and quiet room which we found helpful. Emily Spencer was very thorough in explaining the basics but also in pointing out possible pitfalls and outcomes, some of which we had not considered. The outline of the will was drafted relatively quickly. From that point it was easy to pass on missing information and clarify details via emails. We received the draft copies in the run up to Christmas and I asked if it possibly could be finalised quickly as we were going away. Our meeting to sign the completed will was the day before our departure and once again conducted efficiently and professionally as might be expected. I can recommend this company, particularly to people in the LS8 area who like the personal approach in an easily accessible location.”

“We have just used Winston Solicitors for any sale which went very well but the purchase had a few problems and took longer than expected but with the help of Sam and her team we finally got there. Sam was very good any problems we had were dealt with correctly and straight away acted on which was good professional work always. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.”

“I found Sidraa to be very thorough, proactively raising questions about the conveyance even before I had asked her myself. All communication was clear and regular updates provided, which was very helpful. It was a stressful process (what house move isn’t!)due to an issue dragging on, no fault on the Solicitors’ part but meant exchange and completion in quick succession! Ultimately, Sidraa and Tom worked very hard to achieve the completion date everyone wanted so thank you 🙏”

“Initially the person that was allocated to me was not very good and I didn’t get any compensation but when I changed the person and pushed for review to look at again I was able to get the compensation awarded. It did take time nearly 2 years.”

“Very thorough and professional, addresses all queries and kept me updated throughout the process. Never managed to have a call answered, however (there were small moments on panic involved on my end). As a first time buyer I was hoping for more guided approach, many documets were 'for my attention' without any indication what I am supposed to do with them (I can appreciate my mortgage broker might have spoiled me on this front). Overall the process went smoothly, without any documents/queries missed, even thought it was handled by 3-4 people .”

“Very Good service. Online updates detailing each process and when each was completed. Able to contact easily and quickly for updates. opportunity to have face-to-face, by appointment. Selling of property was relatively quick and actiual completion was smooth and well within agreed timescale. Cost was very reasonable and all relative checks performed. Just missed a five, as change of staff affected cpmmunication somewhat. All okay now though, Thanks allat Winston Solicitors!”

“Joe and Amr were good at keeping contact and answering my questions as a first time buyer. The solicitor on the other side of the purchase was not always responsive, though Joe/Amr made sure to keep chasing which I appreciated. Overall smooth process and would recommend.”
