“We had a really positive experience with Winston Solicitors for our conveyancing. Leasa was the lead solicitor on our matter, with Julie supporting, and both were excellent throughout. They were responsive, organised and always gave us clear, practical advice. Just as importantly, they were reassuring when things became stressful and we always felt that they were firmly on our side and looking out for our interests. Our transaction was not completely straightforward. We lost our buyer during the process and had to change strategy, but Leasa and Julie handled everything calmly and efficiently and made what could have been a very stressful situation feel manageable. They also understood the timescales we were working towards and did a great job of keeping things moving at the speed we needed. We are very grateful for all their help and would happily recommend Winston Solicitors, and Leasa and Julie in particular, to anyone buying or selling a property. “I engaged Mr James Urquhart-Burton to act for me in relation to a CHC decicion with regard to my mother's declining condition (due to Alzheimers disease). A decision that I felt was unfair and was worth challenging. I knew that I would need the support of someone who was familiar with all the processes and policies and working with James confirmed that he knows "his stuff" in this field. James proved to be expert in extracting relevant information from my statements in order to take the matter to formal appeal where, between his knowledge of the system and my records and familiarity with my mum's situation, we managed to reverse the negative decision made by the NHS Assessor. We, as a family, are very grateful for the legal support we had from James in this matter.”

I am please that we did so and am happy to provide a review in this context As a former lawyer myself, I have a critical eye. We found her efficient, knowledgeable. helpful and pleasant.
