“I received advice from James in regard to CHC. He was spot on in his assessment of the likely outcome, and whilst this was not positive news, the process was extremely helpful in navigating the DST meeting. It helped to ensure that in a borderline case, and a situation out of my knowledge and comfort zone, I was able to advocate as well as possible for my elderly relative. It has also been worthwhile to understand what future changes in the situation may impact.”

“winstons were responsive to any contact I made and efficently organised their side of the paperwork. However the buyers solicitor/buyer were very slow to respond and I had to continually push Winstons and my estate agent chase them. I understand it was not their end causing the issues but I would've appreaciated them been more proactive. It felt all left to me.”

“Sidraa at Winstons was incredibly patient and supportive throughout all of the buying process. Sidraa and her team were very responsive and worked the clock round! Nothing was too much of an ask. The online portal where you can check the status of your case is really useful. Having worked with a solicitors that wasn't good for the sale of my partner's flat, it was like night and day comparing them to Winstons.”

“We were very pleased with the process overall. The solicitor we were allocated seemed personable and well informed. Our meetings were held in a large and quiet room which we found helpful. Emily Spencer was very thorough in explaining the basics but also in pointing out possible pitfalls and outcomes, some of which we had not considered. The outline of the will was drafted relatively quickly. From that point it was easy to pass on missing information and clarify details via emails. We received the draft copies in the run up to Christmas and I asked if it possibly could be finalised quickly as we were going away. Our meeting to sign the completed will was the day before our departure and once again conducted efficiently and professionally as might be expected. I can recommend this company, particularly to people in the LS8 area who like the personal approach in an easily accessible location.”

“Sidraa was absolutely amazing during the whole process of us buying our first home from start to finish. She was so organised, never missed any details & always had a warm friendly approach whenever we phoned in.
