“Absolutely first class from begging to end. Do not use anyone else to sell your caravan, these guys are the genuine article. “I recently had to sell my caravan and contacted We By Touring Caravans and thankfully I did. I would like to thank Danny. Lewis and the backroom staff for their help. My wife and I had spent many happy times and created many memories in our caravan and intended to create many more during our retirement. Unfortunately, my wife passed away suddenly last year. I initially intended to keep the caravan but it became clear it was too big for one person to handle comfortably and it wasn't the same without her. I wanted a quick sale at a fair price with the minimum of fuss and that's where WBTC stepped in. Danny was my initial point of contact. He made the process quick, straightforward and gave me a fair offer. All the relevant came from the office. On the day Lewis arrived at the agreed time and was friendly, very helpful and efficient. Everything went like clockwork and I was paid as agreed. The best part about the whole operation was, after many dealings with the caravan trade, This was the first one that didn't try to chip away at the offer price during the inspection. I was honest with them and they were straight with me, for which I am eternally grateful. From my experience, you may get a slightly better price for your caravan through other routes, but I doubt it will go as smoothly. Again a big thank you for your help at a difficult time.”

“Great service from start to finish. Danny was a pleasure to deal with and likewise John who collected the caravan. Danny arranged a collection date with me and John contacted me the day before to check I was ready and text when he was near. He carried out an inspection and reported back to Danny. Once agreed the money was in my account within 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend this company.”

“A simple and easy way to sell my caravan, from start to finish it couldn’t have been better! I was contacted by Danny and after we agreed a price on the phone he arranged for someone to call and check out my Lunar Clubman. Lee came along and after checking for damp and damage etc he agreed it was as described. He phoned Danny who then spoke to me to arrange a bank transfer. Less than 10 minutes later the cash was in my account, I couldn’t have asked for a better service, honestly! By the way I have absolutely nothing to do with WBTC apart from this transaction, highly recommended!”

“Would definitely recommend this service. Danny who handled our request was extremely helpful, polite and responsive and the whole sale process was as straightforward as he described when he first explained it to us. After we had accepted Danny's offer, he arranged a time and date for the caravan to be collected the following week. The guy who collected the caravan, Mark, communicated on route, turned up slightly early and was professional and pleasant. Once he had inspected the caravan he confirmed by phone to Danny that all was ok and Danny then immediately transferred payment to us. My experience certainly doesn't support the claim made in a previous review that WBTC's normal practice is to try it on. All in all, a stress-free experience.”

“Did the deal with Danny over the phone during a very pleasant and gentlemanly conversation during which I offered to send pictures of my caravan and the report form the last service, done a month previously. Danny said he didn’t need to see them. The deal was done and Danny emailed the agreement which I accepted. So far so good When Ashley turned up to collect my van he examined it thoroughly and said he had found damp and that they would have to reduce their offer by £300 ‘to repair the problem’. Ashley spoke to Danny who rang me and confirmed what Ashely had said. Fortunately my service engineer, who was on site, discussed the matter with Ashely and then advised me that they were just using the ‘damp’ to justify reducing their offer. I spoke to Danny who attempted to rationalise the £300 'reduction' but when I held firm, he agreed to the original price .. so the damp cannot have been such a problem after all??? … meanwhile Ashley was busy hitching up my van .. indication that they would be buying the van come what may? What I gleaned from the conversation with Danny and Ashley was that this ‘try-on’ was just their normal practice and that it often worked!!?. I'm 76 so presumably with people of around my age this tactic does work. I’m happy to have sold my van and am happy with the eventual deal .. but not very happy about the way it was done in the end. ‘Old folk’ .. and not so old folk .. watch out.”

I would like to say that there was no doubt your Caravan had water ingress, as confirmed by your onsite Engineer. It is normal industry practise to discuss a financial adjustment to address the repairs. Of course you are well within your rights to decline any subsequent offer proposed to you, indeed you did. At this point I have to make an often difficult commercial decision to continue with the purchase, absorbing the cost of repairs, or decline the Caravan. On this occasion, and after careful consideration, I decided to absorb the cost and complete the process. Just so there’s no confusion, if no water ingress was present, there would have been no request for an adjustment to the price. Thank you, Danny Silver - Sales Director
