Awful! We spend £50k on a camper and the second they had our money they washed their hands of us! Even before we drove it away we asked about a spare key to be told “we don’t know, look in the pack in the glove box”. No spare key there so they arranged for a new one. 3 MONTHS LATER I’m STILL chasing for it! Fobbed off with excuses! The leisure battery wouldn’t turn on and they refused to help over the phone, so had to drive all the way there for them to look at it. Turned out to be a fuse which we had to replace ourselves! When we got the V5 back it was not showing as a camper, still as a panel van with 3 seats! So we had to sort this ourselves! They did not make us aware of this before hand! Now the tap has stopped working! I would be very wary of buying from these cowboys!

We booked an appointment through Josh, as he informed us that he was off that day, he told us one of his colleagues would see us, we wanted to view the Auto-trail Delaware. On arrival, went to reception and told no booking made, but she would get one of the salesmen to see us. First gentleman was very polite and took us straight out to see the motorhome, where we were left alone to look at it at our pleasure. He came back and asked what we thought, told him we were very interested but would like the motorhome started. He went off to get the keys and another salesman came back with the keys as the other one had to go out on a road test! Up to then we were reasonably happy and were looking to purchase the motorhome. But this is where it all went wrong. Once we heard the vehicle start and after a few questions we were invited back to the showroom and sat at his desk. We questioned whether the cambelt and waterpump had been changed and upon him getting the vehicle details, found it had not been serviced for quite a few years and the salesman stating that the previous owner probably serviced it themselves. Also no cambelt changed. When questioned, we were told that it is not a legal requirement like an MoT and was only a recommendation and that the service we would get before collection was basically an oil and filter change. Alarm bells rang in our heads as we know how important a cambelt change is (we own our own motor company). We asked if they could do it in the price, the cambelt and waterpump and was told it does not really matter and that if it snapped in the first hour of owning it they would rectify this!!! (Why should we have to pay for previous customer service recommendations?). He did say that it would cost around £450 and maybe they would cover half the cost, Then in mid conversation he got up to talk to someone else and left us just sitting there, by now we are obviously annoyed, surely a salesman gives you undivided attention (that is what usually happens), this was already our second salesman therefore not a personal touch for a business. After waiting ten minutes we both looked at one another and just got up and walked out, with the £53,000 still in our bank account. We travelled a round trip of three and a half hours and we are so glad we did not put down the £2000 non refundable deposit. We were also concerned after experiencing all this what their aftercare service was going to be like, if required. As a business owner I would not treat a customer in the way you did today. Extremely disappointed.

Very disappointed. I was recommended Webbs as a good place to purchase my next caravan from by a good friend. Having looked around at their stock back in November I found the right van for me but was then instantly put off by the sales manager. Very rude, product knowledge was very poor, which is a real shame as the Bailey We viewed was the van for us. Having caught up with our friends over Christmas who recommended Webbs. They have since explained Webbs have recently had a staff move around and yes the service has gone down hill since the change in sales team members. Luckily Lady Bailey are not much further to travel for a better experience.

Very disappointed, as had nothing but problems from the start, and cannot get webs to sort it out, would not recommend anyone to buy from Webbs Motorhomes any more, had a friend interesting in buying from you, he is now looking to buy some where else. Nothing seems to be covered on the guarantee, after sales service very poor, not interested in sorted problems out.

Thank you for your review Mr Ritchie. Having spoken to you since you wrote this review and you admitted you wrote it in anger and would happily remove this review. Webbs have only seen the van once since ownership and we couldn't fault the vehicle when it came in. Webbs have since offered to help Mr Ritchie out with a part that he wanted to upgrade on the motorhome.
