Ideal kayak for where i go, Lochs and around the shoreline of Scotland. The explorer is the perfect width and very stable, looking forward to many happy outings with it. The process of ordering was easy online and delivery was very quick.

I wanted a good quality inflatable kayak compact enough to fit in the boot of my coupé-shape car, with excellent performance on the water. Read some online reviews, saw the Explorer being recommended, saw it came with carrying bag, pump and paddle included and that it folded small enough for my needs. Weighs under 16kg all folded up so manageable for a short walk from the car park. Pumps up in 15-20 minutes. Very stable, loads of room - I use mine for collecting rubbish from local waterways and it’s perfect for carrying lots of bags, easy to paddle, and robust enough not to puncture if it bumps into sharp edges. Deflates & folds up in under 10 minutes, dries quickly. I’d happily get another if I needed two. Only negative if that the instruction leaflet didn’t state clearly how to set to the inflation valves to correct setting do that it doesn’t deflate when you disconnect the pump.

"This is the second SUP I\u2019ve owned, first from Wave. My beginner board was from a very well known brand, and more expensive. I\u2019ve only taken it out on the river once so far, in very still\r\nconditions, but I love it! \r\nI\u2019m very short and not very strong \ud83d\ude06 and I\u2019ve found previous boards heavy and difficult to carry, making me worn out before I\u2019ve even made it to the waters edge. \r\nThis board is very lightweight (literally half the weight of my other board). It\u2019s a good full length but slightly narrow, which is ideal for me. Perfect dimensions for me making it easy to carry despite my tiny arms, it\u2019s quite nippy and manoeuvrable, so easy to turn on the spot and make fairly tight turns. Of course not as stable as wider boards so better for those with some experience and more confident with keeping their balance. It also just looks really nice! The accessories all feel good quality. The paddle handle is smooth and comfortable. Plenty of rings etc which is handy for luggage or conversion kits. \r\nEverything packs down really compact, the bag is really roomy with a huge opening, meaning you can just chuck stuff in quickly without having to wrestle it in, and I can even fit my BA in there too.\r\nThe only downside for me is that the fin is REALLY tight in the channel, it took me, my husband and a rubber mallet to fit it, I\u2019m hoping this will ease up after a few uses.\r\nI\u2019ve tried more expensive boards, and this in my opinion is preferable, at least for my needs.\r\nPicture is fresh out the box and not fully inflated (excuse the mess). \r\n"
