“The whole organisation before I went to Nairobi was already really good. The website had every step in it and when I had a question they immediately replied. Also when I landed in Nairobi, they picked me up from the airport. I felt really welcomed. Also the whole organisation in Nairobi was perfect. I would recommend it to everyone and I would do it again. It was an incredible experience! :)”

“Absolutely loved my time volunteering at Makimei Children’s home over the last 5 weeks. Everyone felt like family and I was so sad to have to leave. Was such an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend to everyone. We were very well looked after at the accommodation and by the coordinators, everyone was very helpful along the way.”

“I really want to express my appreciation to your company. The teaching was an amazing experience. I felt really fulfilled by giving something to the people who don’t have so much, even if at the beginning I had mixed feelings due to their lifes, but once I realized their happiness, these feelings had disappeared. Well apart, I met amazing and open-minded poeple, with who I spent amazing time and established friendship. I am sure that one day I will reserve this program again! “Volunteering Solutions was quite helpful in all aspects of the volunteer process. The staff provided a great host home, communications and volunteer opportunities. We were told the more you jump in and participate the more you get out. This was definitely true. I helped the maintenance crew at Kay Dee Preschool paint fences and perform yard work. The school looks much nicer after our work.”

“I will be forever grateful to Volunteering Solutions for giving me the opportunity to have one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Volunteering in Kenya is something that allows you to open your eyes to something surreal. The children I met taught me much more than I could ever teach them. Their smiles and their eyes speak to you and warm your heart. Volunteering Solutions offers a 360° experience, spending every day at the orphanage surrounded by wonderful people, while also taking care of you through Joe, a super attentive and supportive coordinator! “Volunteering solutions provided an opportunity to experience Thailand as a partner with the people of Thailand. Working at the elephant camp was one of the best weeks I've ever had. The orientation weekend gave me an opportunity to get to know the staff and other volunteers as I learned about the Thai culture and language. “This was definitely the best experience I had in my life so far. The relationship with the other volunteers there was amazing and the project was incredibly interesting. As a medical student you won't go back home with a lot of new clinical knowledges, but you will become a better person (and so a better doctor) for sure. Just a piece of advice, wait to book the safari until you are there so you can go with your fellow volunteers!”

“The incredible warmth of the children in the Kindergarten in Cusco and the loving welcome of the host family and participation in family life are truly unique! After just 2 weeks, saying goodbye is emotional and very difficult. Despite the short preparation time (booking 1 month before departure), the team made a unique experience possible. And if one or two questions were still unanswered, they were quick to deal with our concerns and always found a good solution to make fantastic tours possible alongside the volunteering. Getting to know the other volunteers and exploring a foreign country together was a special bonus. Thanks to everyone for an unforgettable time!”

“I really had the best time of my life in Ireland. Being a volunteer in a charity Shop taught me so much about myself and helped me to grow as a person. I received so much love and thankfulness from my co-workers and the costumers, so that even on rather stressful days, I could leave work with a big smile on my face. Plus, Ireland absolutely became the home of my heart - it only took me a few seconds to feel at home when I took my first steps on Irish soil and I could not have asked for a better country or a better organisation. I can say from the bottom of my heart that it was the right decision to become a volunteer in Ireland. I arrived in the country without any work experience and without having visited Ireland before and I left with so many beautiful memories and lots of great experiences!”

“My time in Ireland was very memorable: I think I changed a lot there and I became more independent and surer of what I am worth. Irish people are all very nice and enjoyable because it changes a lot with other European countries. Moreover, there are such outstanding touristic places in Ireland that deserve to be visited. Finally, volunteering in a charity shop was a very enjoyable work as it was not very hard and it allowed me to talk English a lot to customers or colleagues. All in all, I recommend 100% Ireland as it was for me an amazing experience that I won't forget.”

“I did a 2-week medical volunteering program at the Mt Meru Hospital in Arusha. The whole volunteering program was perfect, no problems at all, the staff at the housing was always kind and helpful. I'll definitely come back!!”

“I had an incredible experience volunteering with Volunteer Solutions in Rabat, Morocco. The opportunity to work in both a school and an eye hospital was truly enriching. At the school, I connected with enthusiastic students and saw firsthand the impact education has in shaping young minds. “it was certainly one of the most beautiful and enriching experiences of my life. The volunteer camp in gladstone is beautiful, with many animals and many people who put their hearts into what they do. The only flaw to take into consideration is that there is the possibility that there will be no other volunteers. In September when I went there were only three of us and for the following weeks there would be no one. Despite this, I would like to recommend it to all those who love animals and want to live a unique experience”
