“The product was good when it eventually arrived. It was a real shame that not only did it take longer than the estimated time but there was no pro active communication of delays.”

“I bought a sign for my dad's birthday. I ordered the sign on 15/12. On 15/01, a month later, my order still hadn't progressed and I hadn't heard anything further, so I emailed for information. It took 3 days to get a response which wasn't particularly helpful. My sign finally arrived 2 weeks after, on 29/01, 6.5 weeks after I ordered it. The sign was beautiful once it arrived, exactly what I wanted. But even with Christmas, and the fact that the sign is handpainted, it's hard to believe that a small house sign could take so long to be completed. Delivery times didn't affect it at all as it arrived a day after my dispatch email was sent. Overall, happy with the sign, but disappointed with the delivery time.”

“The quality of the finish was not quite what I expected. Finish was very dull and not bright and shiny as expected. Other than that the sign is excellent. Also as other have noted a long wait for finished product.”

“The quality is as expected and very happy happy with it, my issue is the timing of delivery; I waited for nearly 2 months for the sign to arrive!! Which is shame really too long.”

“There was a bit of a mix up with my order which led to a longer than expected delay in manufacture and delivery, but once identified Village Green made every effort to remedy the situation and, once received, the sign was very good quality and just what I wanted. The only thing I would caution is that communication was a little lacking but actions were good.”

“Eventually the sign is what I ordered, unfortunately when the delivery arrived it had no fixings and the plastic transfer element was damaged, I contacted the company and provided close up images of the damage, the response was to request more images which I provided, the response on receipt was “I’m struggling to see the damage” they offered a 10% refund and they would send the fixings. My response was to request a full new sign (not a damaged on) or a full refund, I had no response to the email until I sent another chase email, I was then told a full new sign had been ordered for dispatch, so many weeks after my initial order I did receive a good quality sign which looks great in position. Product is good, customer service needs improvement.”

“Happy enough with the overall sign, wasn’t happy about the predrilled holes in the face plate as they didn’t line up correctly, I had to drill them out slightly to match up”

“Very pleased with sign but not with communication and delivery. Item was ordered on the 11th April received it today. Other are saying prompt delivery. Needless to say we have it.”
