“They are delightful, varied and beautifully coordinated, I really love them. We visited the shop in Cirencester and it was superbly organised. Our choice was helped greatly by a charming member of staff who said she had worked for the company for 10 years I think. Nothing was too much trouble she happily fetched down from the shelf any of our choices. What an asset to your staff I wish other shops were blessed with someone like her.”

“Extremely pleased with my first order of fabric. The samples I ordered were sent out really quickly. I placed an order and it was promptly dealt with. Also an added bonus of a lovely brochure. I will be ordering again.”

“Excellent fabric. I have made ten cushion covers and covered a small chair seat and a pouffe. It was the easiest fabric to sew. It doesn't slip or fray much and is a good thickness. Even though the cushions are linen, they don't seem to crease. I also tested a piece of fabric by putting it in my washing machine on 30degrees, just to see how it would perform. It did not lose any of its surface protection, nor its colour. It felt exactly the same. The only thing that happened was it lost colour where it had creased in the machine, along the line of the crease, but I had given it two cycles in my drier too! Very extreme, I know, but it proved to me how very good this fabric is. I would obviously never wash my precious cushion covers in my washing machine. However I now trust this fabric to be durable and family friendly. Also I initially overpaid on postage and they were quick to let me know by email and reduce my bill. A big thank you all round.”

“Easy o. Rowe the catalogue, order samples online and then choose. The samples arrived very quickly and they were big enough to understand what the finished blind would look like.”

“Beautiful fabric that we are going to use for a Roman blind in our hall. It has oak leaves and acorns in a pretty duck egg colour. Just what I’ve been searching for! Easy to order and delivery was very speedy. The fabric was carefully packaged.”

“I have used Vanessa Arbuthnot fabric before and find it to be a really good quality with a wide range of colours and designs. The recent purchase was as a result of ordering some samples and then choosing the one I wanted from there. It arrived quickly and wrapped up beautifully. I was even more pleased when I saw the design in full. I’m now looking forward to completing the Roman blind and putting it up . Gorgeous colours . I know it will stand the test of time for quality and appearance.”

“I received my large box of patchwork fabric pieces a few days ago, and now feel I have to let you know how happy I am with the contents. Wow, such a lot and such wonderful, wonderful fabrics - both the quality and the designs. I actually trained as a textile designer and taught it on a degree course, as well as designing and making clothes, furnishings and art pieces over a lifetime. Now fairly recently retired, I am happy to use other peoples fabrics to make small household items for myself as well as furnishing my own home. I have to say, I so love the fabrics that I have decided that, should we ever move again, I would only use Vanessa Arbuthnott fabrics for furnishing the house. I love the style, which is countryish, but definately not twee, rather it is fresh and modern, with a slight Scandinavian feel, a wonderful blend that is just me. I now live in the Scottish Highlands, but lived in Oxon for decades and believe I actually visited your shop many years ago, as we visited Cirencester often.”
