OVO said 1-10 weeks, asked for a reading then wouldn't take it as I had no meters! EDF lost my first set of readings, sent loads of emails and then I re-entered them. Phew - your advertising is misleading.”
“Good site for seeing energy comparisons but however when I selected what I thought was the best deal for me the energy company then requested an up front deposit of £400 which I hadn't been made aware of that possibility at the time of selecting them.... Needless to say I therefore haven't proceeded through this site,, especially as I was already approx £500 in credit with current supplier so don't understand why the potential new supplier would be seeking such a large upfront deposit”
“Did not have a field to confirm start date. Led to new supplier emailing with a start date crossing over with current contract and stating going to take payment when still paying current supplier. Had to contact both suppliers. Then received cancelled switch emails from both suppliers, so then had to confirm from both if switch still happening on required date.”
