“Difficult to review as this is a Xmas gift but when I opened the box to check contents, the smell was divine & each tea light is beautifully packaged Order was delivered promptly & website easy to navigate Would use again & recommend”

“Lovely products , have bought hand washes, hand cream and candles. Easy ordering and delivery is good with well packaged goods. My only criticism is that it would be lovely to get free samples in with your orders, and not have to buy something over a certain price to enable you to get a free sample. I like to smell and choose .. not be disappointed when my candle arrives and it’s not what I like. Just bought 2 candles and ones not at all what I thought it would smell like. very disappointed. So maybe start and put free samples in so we get to know what we’re buying . It could put people off buying.”

As an independent small business, we offer samples with purchase, having developed a broad sample collection, including eau de parfums and room sprays, that our customers can select from themselves to help inform the next purchasing decision. Acknowledging that buying fragrance online can be tricky, we developed our scent stories and profiles to help indicate how each might smell. In addition, we created a Perfume Sample Collection, a Room Spray Sample Collection and a Tea Light for every candle fragrance so that customers can try a miniature version before investing in a larger one. “Green lavender: Refreshing, delicate yet intense room fragrance! Excellent quality and the bottle is class! One of the very few room fragrances that doesn’t give me headache.”

“Lovely scent - Fig trees however the longevity is very poor, lasts maybe 30 mins max. Very disappointing. Shipping was fast and package was secured.”

“I love the oud geranium fragrance hence bought not just the body wash but the eau de parfum, on top decided to try another fragrance green lavender, which is ok but i am sad to say neither of the sprays lasts more than a few hours, perhaps consider how can you make them last.”

“We have had a few Urban Apothecary products in the past always gorgeous scents. Red Cedar I have not tried before and its a present so not yet opened to smell it. Hoping its as good as the ones we've had before. One bit of feedback I would give is that your postage is quite expensive. Beautiful stylish products though.”

“The product is lovely, however, my spend entitled me to receive 2 free samples, I received 1, because that was all I entered on the order form, a little common sense wasn't applied by the staff member that processed the order.”

“Fantastic company with products that really deliver. Such beautiful scents, my home smells like a sanctuary. People always check before they leave that they have the name of each product. I would just say that the packaging needs rethinking but that won’t take much thought to turn this company into one of the best.”

“I bought two candles: Vine Tomato and Phoenix Rising. Vine Tomato smells nothing like tomatoes on the vine, however, it smells fresh and soothing. I like it very much. Foolishly I bought Phoenix Rising due to some of the other purchasers' reviews, which wasn't a good idea. For me, its smell reminds me of cheaper mens' aftershave, like Brut 33, Old Spice and Lynx. I wasn't keen on it, I'm afraid.”

“The delivery was super fast and products were perfect and as described. However, it would have been nice if we were consulted what scent of the complimentary gifts we would like (if applicable), and also would be great if there are options for different sized bottles and/or refills (also if applicable).”

“I am very happy with urban apothecary as itself, however I am upset that I was charged extra 30.- Dollars by dhl after the products being delivered. Not because of the amount, but because it was never mentioned when ordering. It opens the question for me, why to order from your online store directly and not from a local company.”
