Although it’s not clever in all your advertising that it can take a few weeks for the horse to get use to it it’s now been a few weeks and my horse has finally got it

I have 4 trickle nets now. I have 2 very greedy good doers who would finish a regular haynet in a flash. Both my horses took to the new tricklenets easily and it slows them down so much. I use 2 in the paddock over winter, attached to the field shelter, which reduces waste. They have been used for over a year now and have withstood the weather. They are well made and extremely sturdy. They do take a while to 'soften' but after that they're very easy to use I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Knotless haynets are great. Regular black knotted haynets are sometimes too difficult for the horses to get our hay out of, but good quality materials still.

I have been using trickle nets for a few years now and they do exactly what they're supposed to, all four horses still have hay in the nets in the mornings so these are great for greedy horses that clear nets in a few hours I use less hay, the horses are happy as they constantly have hay and it's not wasted. One of the horses can destroy standard-quality nets in weeks and trickle nets last at least 12 months. My other horses have had their original nets for years .

It's a strong net, that I use it for my horse through the night, alongside his normal net. He's had one before, so he's developed the skills for using it.

A great Haynet. Please read the Q&A on the website! I didn't and was a bit stuck at first. My greedy Irish Draught couldn't eat through the holes of the new net and stood at the back of the stable sulking. I soaked the hay net overnight which made the holes softer and tied the net up length ways at each end with two tying points this made it easier for the net to stay still. I also fed 50% loose and 50% in the trickle net just so she could choose what to eat first. My mare loves it now and it does slow her eating down. This is not like a normal haynet and it can take a couple of weeks for your horse to get used to it.

My horse has been having trickle nets for the last ten years. Makes the hay last a lot longer keeps him happy.

Catherine, how kind of you to leave a one star review for a small company struggling with all businesses to get by in the current climate, while still keeping customer service a high priority. We have responded to your rude emails. We have explained that Royal Mail are striking, and EVERYONE is experiencing delays. This is not ideal. We have apologised but once the order has been PROMPTLY DISPATCHED by ourselves, it is out of our control. Just now I have replied to you again and sent you a link to a bulletin from Royal Mail explaining the delays are continuing as the strikes are causing backlogs. Yes Catherine, they aren't striking again until the 9th, well done. However the previous strikes have caused backlogs which are still being processed. I'm not sure you have a full understanding of this situation, and it's starting to sound like you're accusing us of intentionally withholding your order!? Catherine, when you do finally receive your order, we would be happy if you return it in clean un used original condition and we will refund you in full for those products. Then please don't ever buy anything again from us, or any small business. Where one overworked horsey girl is trying her hardest for you in an impossible situation caused by a third party outside of her control, and your rude unhelpful attitude has darkened her day and wasted an hour of her time. We don't need customers like you anyway. From all at Trickle Net, we hope you have a very Merry Christmas. Hopefully Santa will bring you some kindness and patience. Fingers crossed!

I brought the Trickle net for the large bales of hay. I wish i had one years ago! Keeps the bale tidy and stops scoffing.

Wish I’d found these sooner for my ‘very good-doer’ chunky cob. I have both the large and the mini net - both have already lasted a full year with no broken strings and seem just as strong as when I bought them! (No more old nets doubled up or knitted together with baler twine!). He eats less now as it requires effort to tease the hay out, so only eats when he’s actually hungry. Seems to enjoy playing with the net to get hay strands out so keeps him occupied and engaged. Dinner lasts much longer and there’s very little wastage on the ground. Much healthier for him than bolting down hay from the larger-holed nets with half of it ending up in his bedding. You can easily buy replacement rope to tie the nets up with (the only part that ever shows any damage) but the nets themselves are well worth the slightly higher price as they are super-strong and outlast every other haynet I’ve ever bought!

Definitely slows down greedy feeders! Need to make sure the top is pulled tightly shut though.

Incredibly heavy duty and good quality. This is my first trickle net but I’ll be buying more. I like the soft tooth friendly material, the fact that there is nearly no wasted hay but that my horses have something in front of them always.

I’m on a DIY yard and we have to bring in by 4. Have a good doer who usually clears his hay (double netted) well before morning. The trickle net still has some in it when I get to the yard at 7. He is not grumpy when I arrive either. Very happy and wish I’d heard of the nets sooner.

I now have 3 big bale nets. Love them, the quality is amazing and the horses are relaxed and happy , never running out of feed but also unable to over eat. Highly recommend.
