Great product but slightly to small for a normal 4ft round bale. Bought these as measured bigger but struggle to pull them tight to close compared to what I've seen online and older versions we have

Really well made net, has slowed the ponies down which is great for round bellies and my purse 😂 I didn’t give 5 stars because the string to tie the net isn’t very good, it’s like a shoelace and we found the knot would get very tight and was difficult to use which is odd as it’s an expensive net. Thicker rope like the green one weaved into the net would be so much easier to use and stronger.

I love the new Softie net, and so does my horse. After nearly 9 years with the original I took the plunge and got this one (well x2 actually) and great product. I have to say the rope is a little longer but I’ve sorted that (better than too short!) mo loves it !

I bought this chop net for a horse going to be on box rest after surgery . Although pricey it’s excellent quality so should last a long time . I think it will help us to control the horses weight during his recovery I rated it four stars because it was expensive

Had original net before but it was a pain to fill, new softee is brilliant. They're expensive but probably have 4x as much material in them as a standard net so I think price reflects that. I am worried about longevity, been using a few weeks and looking fine so far.

So far so good! Been using for a week and certainly keeping ponies satisfied throughout the night rather than gobbling up their haynets in a couple of hours. They are quite a lot heavier than standard haynets (as they are made of much stronger, tougher material) which is fine with dry hay but much more challenging to lift when soaking hay. Overall very pleased and would definitely recommend. I hope they really do last a long time as they are expensive. I also purchased the metal screw clip which really does make it much easier to tie them up, rather than having to feed the rope back through the net itself- clever idea!

I have individually ordered 2 trickle net’s recently ,both I paid for tracked 48 hrs,the first arrived in good time the second I ordered on Sunday & didn’t get until Friday which I was disappointed at as I paid nearly £6 for delivery. Communication via messenger was 4 days until they replied,it could of been quicker. The nets themselves seem very strong,I ordered an original & a small one. They are quite tight upon delivery but our mare has slowly got used to using them, only one day when she couldn’t get the hay out. I don’t think the rope on it will stay together too long as it has started fraying already. I think they are very over priced but would recommend them if using for a slow feed net as it definitely takes our mare longer to eat from it.

Hi there, we are sorry to hear your delivery was delayed. I can assure you we despatch in stock items very quickly, but the delivery services are out of our control. You may have heard the Royal Mail strikes have caused problems, and considerable back logs. I suspect your order was snagged in the strikes, which is outside of our control. Regarding messages, it is rare that we take this long to respond and I can only presume this was during a very busy spell. We advise customers to email queries in to us, rather than message on social media. This is not a reliable method and we have found that bugs and glitches can delay and hide messages. Whereas emails go to the whole team and can be addressed promptly. If your rope fails within 3 months, please let us know and we will send a replacement.

Knotless haynets are great. Regular black knotted haynets are sometimes too difficult for the horses to get our hay out of, but good quality materials still.

I think it's one of the best on the market, I love its sturdiness. My Connemara still manages to get the most enormous mouthfuls out of it so one with even smaller holes would be good to make it more trickle and less gobble. I don't know how you get 8 kg of hay into the normal size net I can't get anywhere near that even by standing on it are you sure this figure is correct?

Very good. But bought one a while ago and drawstring rope frayed easily and broke.
