Just brought my 3rd original trickle net. My other 2 are still like new and going strong. Just brought a 3rd one to use and fill. I would highly recommend this net for anyone who has a good doer like my boy. They have really helped him cut down. They are very heavy duty which I love. My boy just seemed to chew holes in all of the other flimsy hat nets. Thank you Trickle Net 😊🐴

I use Trickle nets because my horse is a good doer and has PPID, so I need to slow down his intake while making sure he has forage accessible for as long as possible, especially overnight. The small holes and strong fibre of the net allows me to do this. The nets have so far proved very strong, where other small holed haynets I have used have developed rips and tears in them after frequent use. Because of the small size of the holes, I would say there is less risk of the horse getting a shoe stuck in the net.

I've been impressed with tricklenet for my greedy 16.3 boy. Takes a bit more time to fill but now that it's been used a few times it's getting easier.... Would love a hammock design to make filling easier... Thank you

The trickle Net is amazing my horses would go through a bale in no time, the net slows them down so their not stuffing them selfs. It’s nice to see the bale lasting more than a few days.

Have used these now for several years, and although they seem pricey compared to other greedy feeder nets on the market, these are far superior, especially if you are soaking too. They last so much longer and are really worth the few extra pounds. Highly recommended

Best nets ever! I have 3 of them now … my 1st one is coming up to 4yrs old and is still all in one piece with 3 very large hungry horses feeding from it in their barn every day.

They are lovely nets & beautifully made. But my horse can still eat 2 full slices of soaked hay in less than an hour so I’m sure they work really well for many horses but they do not slow my horse down enough.

I've bought at least 6 nets from Trickle Net and they've all been brilliant quality. I bought them because my horses gorge themselves on their haynets and then stand half the night with nothing to eat. These nets slow feed my horses, keeping them occupied and not hungry. They're really sturdy and don't fall apart and I will no doubt be investing in some more. Superb!

Recently bought 2 large soft trickle nets for our native good doer ponies. Very robust well made nets that I feel are much gentler for the ponies teeth than my original ones. Easy to fill & the ponies nibble away steadily at them which means they are never without forage but are eating much less overall and no waste. Very pleased with the nets - Thankyou

At last, a small-holed Haynet which is robust and easy to hang, even when hay is soaked and heavy.

This has really slowed my greedy boy down and stops him finishing his whole net in 25 minutes !

Well made good quality nets exactly as described. Not cheap but hopefully they will last. Make sure you watch the video before use as initially I thought they'd sent me the wrong thing!

Very hard and stiff to use. Difficult to fill with it being so stiff and heavy.

Hi Audrey, thanks for your review. You'll find an explanation for this on the website product page and on the packaging. The Original net is stiff and heavy to start with, but it will soften and become easier to use. These nets are built with very tough materials to do a great job, and they have to be strong. There are some tips available on how to make your net easier to use. These are on the website and on the packaging. Hopefully, you'll be getting on better with it now, and most importantly you'll be seeing the benefits in your horse. Thanks.

Delighted with the tricklenet. Very impressed with the quality of it - really superior quality and worth the price. It’s really helping my Welsh cob and as a bonus I find it far easier to fill and hang than a normal haynet - the softer material seems really high quality and is also really easy to deal with, doesn’t twist up etc. I will be getting a second one before the winter for sure!
