About Tottington Motor Company:

Tottington Motor Company a family run business, established for over 40 years has always over 60 quality used vehicles always in stock including a range of automatic vehicles, with the majority of our stock with one previous owner.

Our growing customer base is built up from our loyal customer base, recommendations and reviews you’ll read here because we believe in quality, customer care and attention to detail.

All our vehicles are sold with a full service and MOT and we welcome our customers to come back 6 months later for a free 88 point check.

Since 1970, Tottington Motor Company (or Totty Motors as it’s affectionately known) has been supplying Bury, Tottington, Bolton, Rochdale, Ramsbottom & Manchester as a whole with quality used vehicles and competitive finance packages to our customers.

Our state-of-the-art onsite workshop offering several classes of MOT’s, Service, repairs and free tyre fittings offers a half price MOT when a full service is carried out. Our work comes with a 12 months parts and labour guarantee. As well as this, our workshop offers a free courtesy car and offer a pick-up and drop-off service within 7 miles.

TMC Leisure, the sister company of Tottington Motor Company stocks a vast range of leisure vehicles including teardrop trailers, caravans, motorhomes. TMC Leisure are the UK & Ireland sole concessionaires for Caretta Caravans, the largest Roller Team & Sun Living by Adria dealership in the North and continues to build partnerships with key motorhome manufacturers including Auto-Trail Tribute. Auto-Trail Tribute will be introduced the TMC Leisure range in February 2019.

TMC Leisure holds open days on a regular basis and offer a try before you buy scheme.

“We could not be happier with the service and support from the team at TMC. From the first call to finding us the perfect campervan, nothing was too much trouble. Harry took great care in walking us through the van, making sure we were happy with everything, and his advice and knowledge has been excellent throughout the whole process. The aftercare has been fantastic too as we had an issue with the newly installed tracker which Greg handled excellently and made us feel very looked after. We are over the moon with the van and highly recommend TMC.”

“I had an emergency where my car broke down the day before going on a family holiday to London. With very little notice I contacted Tottington motors to see if they had anything available at such short notice. I spoke to Emma who was extremely professional and helpful and made the process extremely straightforward and understanding my predicament made sure that everyone was done the same day for me. I am extremely happy with the professional and understanding service offered by Emma and would recommend anyone looking to hire a car to contact this company. “I don’t write reviews too often but the team at TMC deserve the positive feedback! Top class service from the motorhome rental team at TMC, with a special mention for Greg (or ‘Gregon The Great’ as our 3 year old daughter called him) and Angela. Nothing more was too much trouble, vehicle was practically brand new and immaculate, and pickup/dropoff was seamless. Thank you to all the team behind the scenes who help provide such a great customer experience. Wouldn’t hesitate one bit to recommend TMC for motorhome hire. Once our time comes to buy, we’ll be hopping back on the ferry from Belfast to buy from TMC :-)”

“Absolutely fabulous to deal with. We recently purchased a VW camper from Tottington and whilst viewing several garages we very quickly decided this was the company we wanted to deal with. Harry was brilliant in letting us test drive numerous vehicles and answering our many questions and emails without sales pressure. Jason also went out of his way to find answers to queries. Sorry it has taken a while to post a review but we have been enjoying our van so much and definitely made the right choice of van and vendor. We have since realised that the conversion company are also very highly rated too as VW specialist approved and this gives us a high degree of comfort about safety too. We were very pleased in how we were looked after by Harry and Jason and cannot recommend highly enough. Price, collection service and customer service all excellent- a super family business.Thanks all.”
