Tottington Motor Company a family run business, established for over 40 years has always over 60 quality used vehicles always in stock including a range of automatic vehicles, with the majority of our stock with one previous owner.

Our growing customer base is built up from our loyal customer base, recommendations and reviews you’ll read here because we believe in quality, customer care and attention to detail.

All our vehicles are sold with a full service and MOT and we welcome our customers to come back 6 months later for a free 88 point check.

Since 1970, Tottington Motor Company (or Totty Motors as it’s affectionately known) has been supplying Bury, Tottington, Bolton, Rochdale, Ramsbottom & Manchester as a whole with quality used vehicles and competitive finance packages to our customers.

Our state-of-the-art onsite workshop offering several classes of MOT’s, Service, repairs and free tyre fittings offers a half price MOT when a full service is carried out. Our work comes with a 12 months parts and labour guarantee. As well as this, our workshop offers a free courtesy car and offer a pick-up and drop-off service within 7 miles.

TMC Leisure, the sister company of Tottington Motor Company stocks a vast range of leisure vehicles including teardrop trailers, caravans, motorhomes. TMC Leisure are the UK & Ireland sole concessionaires for Caretta Caravans, the largest Roller Team & Sun Living by Adria dealership in the North and continues to build partnerships with key motorhome manufacturers including Auto-Trail Tribute. Auto-Trail Tribute will be introduced the TMC Leisure range in February 2019.

TMC Leisure holds open days on a regular basis and offer a try before you buy scheme.

Although the motor home was lovely and very clean it wasn't the one we'd booked which had been given to someone else in error. This meant that there were only 4 seatbelts instead of the 6 we needed so 2 of our party had to travel separately costing us another £150 in fuel.

Thank you for taking the time to place a review Mr Menzies, I would like to respond as follows: It is correct that you had originally made a booking with us for the Marco Polo with an automatic transmission, as you are no doubt aware and as we discussed with you the manufacturer was not able to deliver several new motorhomes that we had ordered for season 22. We did of course offer the options of another motorhome with a similar layout or a refund, you chose to opt for the Garda motorhome. I have investigated with the team and have been advised that on the day of collection you had been issued with a very similar motorhome, the Autotrail C72 as opposed to the Autotrail C73, I understand from the team that this was an error on our part and I sincerely apologise to you. As soon as the error was noted I understand that we made contact and as you had already set off on your journey you confirmed that you were happy with the new motorhome issued to you upon collection and there was no requirement to change it over. I note your comment in terms of the number of seatbelts and the additional fuel as persons had to travel separately, we are somewhat confused by this as upon checking the booking documentation you have stated the number of persons in the party was 3/4 adults. I can confirm that the motorhome issued to you had a total of 4 seatbelts and as such matched your booking documentation, we see no reason as to why you have now advised that 6 persons needed to travel in the motorhome! I am informed that the motorhome has been returned with some damage, this was pointed out to you yesterday upon your return and I will be in contact with you under separate cover early next week when I have the repair costings. The 3 year old Mokka was beautifully prepared,the sales team were excellent,friendly and went out of their way to make the deal I was looking for.However, I asked for a spare wheel as I am not happy with these repair kits, and I paid them for one when I ordered the car 3weeks ago. I am still waiting and nobody from TMC has bothered to let me know why it hasn't arrived. Friends and neighbours have admired the car which looks brand new, but when I tell them about the aftersales performance, they are put off from TMC. All it would have taken was a phone call to let me know the situation, and I would have been singing their praises,and giving them an excellent review.

Thank you for your review, Roger. I’m pleased you’ve enjoyed the Mokka and it is the envy of your neighbours. Paul Curren our service manager has tried to contact you, however I will contact you myself as I sold you the car. As I advised you not to purchase a spare wheel from a Vauxhall main dealer as the price was in excess of £300 we agreed with one another to supply through an alternative company. The order was placed on the 21st of January and we are still awaiting the space saver, we had been told at the time of order that this could take up to 4 weeks.
