“Great ties, sadly they didn’t arrive as per the stated delivery in time for a teachers gift at Christmas! Possibly not Planet Ties fault more so Royal Mail.”

Hi Zoe Thank you very much indeed for your order and review. We are pleased you like the ties but of course sorry to hear they were not with you in time to give as a Christmas gift. We did post all orders out on schedule but unfortunately the unprecedented volume of mail alongside the coronavirus related complications felt by Royal Mail prior to Christmas did result in some delays to deliveries. We are of course extremely sorry it was the case with your order. We do find the service to be generally very reliable and it was very much a 'one-off' time in run up to Christmas. “The elastic was stitched to the bow tie in such a way that there was only a very little adjustment possible for putting it on over the head. I had to undo the stitching and restitch in a better position.”

On this item there is a small clip to fasten and unfasten the bow tie so it doesn't need to be put on over the head. Sorry to hear that you had to make your own adjustments to the item and that this was not clear. I have posted an image to show how the clip works. “Your ties are not properly labelled. I bought a skinny tie thinking it was your label for slim. It would be nice to use 'classic, slim, skinny to describe size.”

We outline the width of the tie within the description and this tie is listed as an 8cm width tie. “The colour of the tie came much different in reality to what was pictured. It was vibrant on screen but arrived washed out.”

“The ties arrived very quickly, so in that respect I can't fault them. Unfortunately the fabric wasn't of the best quality. The white dots started to fray after just one day. I trimmed them off and made do for a second wedding. They won't last long!”

“The scarf I was delivered promptly .The colour was not true to the colour depicted and a bit darker and the Length was a bit short ,having said that it was acceptable for my needs.A bargain price too.”

“this order was dispatched and delivered quickly. Red and blue striped ties were out of stock over a year ago and I requested to be informed when new stock was available but that never happened. checking each month I found they are now available so that was my order.”

The novelty ties generally are quite wide to fit as much of the bold pattern on as possible. “I bought 3 as gifts and the value for money I got is amazing. However, I did end up with a rather short tie, which left me rather red faced. No where in the description did it say it was a child’s tie and because of that I will give you 3 start only.”

“I bought two ties recently from Ties Planet. Ordering was easy and my dealings with Ties Planet was without fuss and what I would have expected and delivery was very prompt. The ties themselves I found a little disappointing, both being a little narrower and with more muted colouring that I have expected from the web photograph, but not enough for me to return them - the risk you take of buying unseen I suppose.”
