Cancelling is a NIGHTMARE! If you want to cancel, then you should be able to cancel, not be expected to say 'no thanks' half a dozen times. It should be a one-click wham-bam-thankyou-ma'am. The idea is nice, but for the cost, the gin is nice, the additional bits are hit and miss, and the magazine is stuffed through with those cr*ppy leaflets that tend to spread across the floor when you open it. The rewards system seems a bit of a scam, if you are being rewarded for your loyalty, then you shouldn't have to have an ever increasing minimum order when you redeem your voucher. It's obviously expertly worded to exaggerate the value of these 'loyalty points'. If you were a valued customer, you shouldn't be expected to have a minimum order for one, and a higher minimum order for a higher value reward voucher. It should just be treated like a normal voucher, as part payment, not a veiled incentive to get more money from you in a way that looks far better than it actually is. It's this kind of behaviour that makes it more apparent that you're not treated as a loyal member, or customer, but just as a source of income, that they will try and squeeze as much as they can from you in, I feel, dishonest ways.

Hi There, We're sorry to hear you found the cancellation process difficult this of course is not the intention at all. Regarding our reward system we offer two types of rewards, money off reward or a free product reward. The reason we offer two types is so they can suit members with both a high or low value orders so all terms are easily met, we're sorry to hear you didn't feel this way. As always, we welcome feedback so thank you for sharing. Kind Regards, Yasmine Customer Service Team Leader

Unfortunatly, I never received it. Royal Mail advised it was delivered yet nothing had arrived. I checked with my neighbours and event calling royal mail, they said they wouldnt do anything about it. Cancelled my subscription as I cant risk losing money for a parcel that never arrived. The contents look amazing from the website and hoping that the taster box was going to be as great to keep the subscription going, however, I wont be unfortunatly.

Not the best to be honest, I tried their taster box which was excellent. I think paused my first box as I wanted to look at he website more and see what sort of thing they offered on a monthly basis. However the money still came out my account, I emailed and they told me that they couldn’t do anything about it until the box was delivered and I’d then have to pay to send it back. It arrived eventually, I thought I’d try it seeing as I’ve paid for it. I have to say I was disappointed nearly £50 on a bottle of gin, two tonics and two fizzy drinks which were disgusting, so they went down the sink. The only decent thing in the box was the measly two snacks, the vegan chocolate was not appealing at all. Safe to say I’ve completely cancelled the box and won’t be joining up again. I think it’s a complete rip off and you can buy better gin in Aldi.

Decent product but tricky to cancel once you get started despite being very easy to order more online. Call to their customer service required between usual business hours.

I used to love the excitement of opening a gin box. I feel there should be the ability to tailor the tastes more, and whilst I appreciate the idea is to try new gins and products, there are flavours each of us dislike and it would be great if we could state what we'd not like to receive. A recent Customer Services response was extremely disappointing and borderline rude, with no consideration of the cost of living crisis being experienced currently by so many. Significantly different to previous responses received, when you were able to talk to a representative, not being able to speak to someone and the delay in receiving a response to resolve for days is frankly not good enough. I no longer consider the boxes value for money. The snacks seem quite similar each time or very unusually paired to the gin and mixers, however some have been great. The rewards are pointless as you still have to spend a small fortune in order to receive a reward when trying to redeem. Delivery for me to date has always been through Royal mail - no issue with this, but understanding this is changing to Evri has seriously put me off as I've had parcels lost by this courier in the past and there always seems to be a longer wait via this method of delivery

Value for money is extremely poor these days. Rewards system is terrible. I've got 4,000 points that I can't use as I'm not spending £100 on top of what I'm already paying for the box and you can't combine the free items would your subscription box. They offer no pause option online. I forgot to cancel one box and emailed them immediately and they refused to honour it despite explaining I was in financial difficulty at the time. This really isn't a great subscription management experience. Other subscriptions offer much better control, flexibility and rewards systems. Think I'm about done so will be definitely pausing, maybe cancelling if it doesn't look like the flexibility, value or rewards improves.

It’s a great novelty and a nice way to try new gins, but they tend to repeat a lot of things which isn’t so great. The delivery isn’t that reliable either, even with thirst class.

I love the gins but very disappointed with the snacks as everything is catered for vegans an vegetarians I feel you are discriminating against people that enjoy meat products crisps an nuts very flavourless.

I bought the first rum box but I didn't think much of the rum, it didn't inspire me to buy more rum boxes.

After becoming a member of the craft gin club. My husband being a rum drinker was really excited when you announced you were going to issue a rum box. (He seen how pleased and excited i was on receiving mine). On receiving his rum box he got just as excited as my self. But on tasting it using the recommended recipe and mixer in the booklet he was really disappointed. The nominate flavour seemed to be more whiskey than rum. He felt that being the first rum box there could have been a better choice.

Hi, unfortunately, the Rum sent was not to my liking at all. The flavour of the rum was like something created in a laboratory rather than a barrel and just did not work with the spiced flavouring. It may well taste very nice on a cocktail but it's not something that I would try. I have marked this bottle for giving away at the earliest opportunity.

I have been a member for 3 years now. I purchase it for my Mum each month and she is happy with the gin, the booklets and the snacks each month. She is unaware of the cost so is unsure of the value but she is happy with what she receives so Im happy with that. I only logon to the website on occasion when I top up her monthly box or I purchase other gins/mixers for a special occasion. In the past the points could be exchanged for money off your order. Now you need to spend a certain amount in order for your points to be worth anything. I would need to spend £100 to get £20 off my order and would also be deducted 2000 points. This must be a recent change as it was never the case in the past. I also receive many more marketing emails and notice more upsells. I logged in to the site today and noticed there are now 25 domains making a connection to my browser just visiting the website! It seems like they are now just concerned with making more money instead of in the past when it seemed like more of a passion for gin lovers. I will be testing a few alternatives now to see if I get more value for my money as there are tons of alternatives nowadays and it seems they no longer offer anything unique, they are just like all the other big brands trying to take a little bit more of your money and sharing your data with every Tom, Dick n Harry on the internet.

First order April 2023 using the 60% discount. Starting with the positives. Snacks contained within the box are quality as are the mixers. Gin was a disappointment tho, very bland and generic. Will give another month a go and make a decision as for £42 per month you can get some great gins on offer for £25-30 and top up with plenty of mixers for the same price. Jury’s out

After receiving a year's subscription for my 40th birthday I was so sad for it to come to an end! To my complete shock, my husband bought me another year's subscription for my joint birthday and Christmas gift, I was thrilled, that was until I received my first box. This was a 'welcome box' which consisted of a Christmas gin and snacks that I had received through the previous year. I emailed to query and was reassured that this was a welcome box and I would still receive my January box. My January box didn't arrive and when I questioned why, I was told that the welcome box was in it's place! To say I am disappointed is an understatement 😞. Firstly I was given false information and the welcome box appeared to be used up treats from last year, needless to say...I won't be renewing for next year!

I’ve been a CGC member for about 2 years and up until recently I would of given them 5 stars however recently their customer service has completely gone down hill. There dec ‘22 booster box should of contained 3 cocktails syrups it contained only 1 ( not the 3 as stated during ordering) one can of pop was sent in replacement. This goes against trading standards and can be classed IMHO as Theft! I’ve tried emailing several times but they are refusing to sent out the missing syrups saying they don’t have any, which is rubbish as on their online shop they’re available in a bundle, so that’s a lie. I’ve spoken to TS who have advised me this is law breaking, but as they won’t budge there’s not much that can be done. FACT!!! They have done this to EVERY CUSTOMER, That ordered the booster box. Every member that purchased the booster box got only 1 cocktail syrup instead of the 3 that they paid for. Some members didn’t get any. A can of pop was sent as a replacement. Can you imagine the money they have saved. £6.66 for 2 syrups and it cost maybe 80p for a can of pop. That’s £5 on every single box! they have pocketed. I’m so shocked. They customers service used to be excellent. But the last few months it’s useless. It’s like they don’t care anymore. So disappointed!

Was a good box but for me there was too much going on in the box to do like with making a cocktail which personally isn’t for me the makers need to be able to give the customer there own personalised box that way u then don’t throw things away because u won’t use it which is throwing money down the drain
