About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I’m old fashioned! I decided to go back to just use blankets as I did when I was a child. This is fourth blanket I’ve bought from this amazing company. The last one was a very large red blanket in the sale which made it even better value. These blankets are soft thick and beautifully made. I trust this company. The beauty of blankets is that you can change the warmth of your bed easily …. Colder than usual? Put on another…. Very warm , just use one. With quilts you can really do this. I also bought a gorgeous knee blanket for my sofa, it’s the perfect size. I thoroughly recommend this company… only sad thing for me, is that I have enough blankets now! 🤗”

“Our daughter has two of your lovely, soft and snuggly, blankets in her flat in Edinburgh and we have admired them - and their warmth - hugely, over this last year when visiting. We have been promising ourselves a couple for a while now and finally bought two last month. Not only are they extremely functional but they look beautiful as well. “The dusky pink herringbone blankets are great. The delivery very quick. The only slight issue is that the 2 identical 230cm blankets are slightly different lenghts (3cm).”
