About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Good quality wool The measurements provided online include tassles therefore a 180cm long blanket is really only 160cm long. Which when you are over 180cm tall is a big difference”

“Yeah totally happy with my purchase . Thought I’d try wool as opposed to traditional bed sheet. Was prompted by fact feathered duvet needed to be washed as it had lost all insulation properties ! Anyway like all reviews read on this product the blanket / throw does shed a lot to begin , but has settled . Not yet washed it so can’t comment regarding that process. Other than that it’s great and am looking to enjoying it for many wonderful years to come … I’ll look at sheep differently, from now on; when it’s freezing cold; I should think ! 🐑 😊”

“I bought two of the same blanket several weeks apart..........when I bought this blanket it did clearly say not for heavy use.........despite this I then got the flu and covid and thoroughly abused said blanket! I slept on it/under it/wrapped in it/ dropped it on the floor when I had a temperature where my dog immediatly dug in it and made himself a bed. Throughout all of this my blanket was was a huge comfort keeping me warm and nestled until I felt better. After all that my blanket has" fluffed" and accquired a few bobbles..........after all it is wool and that is what wool does but I cannot recommend it highly enough. So much so that as soon as I was well I ordered a second one!”
