About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I’m delighted with my blanket. I chose it in rust to go with my living room cushions. It is very thick and just lovely to wrap around you in the winter evenings. Great quality and British made. Thank you British Blanket Co.”

“This is the most beautiful blanket. Its weave is delicate and yet rustic and quite exquisite. The colours blend with every colour palette as well as both modern and traditional decor. It is wonderfully cosy and warm, but seems curiously thermoregulating so you don't overheat if it is on the bed. But gorgeous on a sofa. 100% British wool too - looked after, it will be an heirloom. Never seen a blanket like this before. Exquisite.”

“In the last 6 weeks I have bought 2 XL blankets for King Size beds and 2 large blankets for grandchildren's 3 ft bunk beds. Thrilled with all of them - the blankets are thick but soft and light, the colours and patterns are gorgeous. We are using one XL blanket, with a Lan air cell blanket and a light weight quilted bedcover and it provides the perfect winter sleeping temperature - my husband loves it as he hates duvets - even though I had tried both silk and wool duvets. I was so pleased I bought the others for guest room and bunk room. A sheet and a blanket will be perfect in summer as wool is self regulating for temperature. Two more purchases are in mind - I am just waiting to see if new colours or patterns are released. Excellent quality, very good value and I am delighted to buy a British Product.”
