About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“XL duck egg blue throw already in use as a bed blanket. Very warm, lovely quality. Colour darker than expected, but it looks smart. Fast delivery. Thank you.”

“Beautiful quality, soft blanket. The first one I ordered wasn’t the right colour and returning it was very expensive (as I was exchanging, it was a shame it wasn’t free return) but I am thrilled with the new one and exchanging it was very quick and easy.”

“Efficient, nice rug/blanket. Would have liked a bit more choice and perhaps some brighter colours. Not the cheapest blanket but it's on our bed, looks very nice and seems very good quality.”

“I really like the knee rugs - that are very manageable and are thick and cosy. I so liked my blanket that I gave 2 as Christmas presents and they have been very well received. British Blankets combine old fashioned quality natural materials with an exciting range of styles and colours.”

“I bought a British Blanket throw as a Christmas present for my daughter. She itold me that she and her family are delighted with it, and, foot of it's popularity nd quality she has bought a second one to have on her other settee. Ordering on line and delivery were very straight forward and good, I found, in spite of the Christmas shopping rush and Covid restrictions. Thank you!”

“I am really enjoying my blanket which looks really lovely draped over a chair in my lounge. However it sheds, which was particularly visible when I used it on a dark and plain sofa, I hope this will stop in time.”

“Lovely quality blanket, perfect for snoozy Sunday afternoons on the sofa. My only down point was that the blanket I choose wasn't blue as in it's description or picture,it's more of a teal colour ,so just be extra sure when picking your colour. As I purchased the blanket during a full lockdown, it didn't feel safe going out to the post office to return it. Still lovely a colour and pefect for the sofa. I would buy again from The British Blanket Company.”
