About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I was ill over Christmas and your blankets and throws looked lovely, so fired an order off on boxing day. Didn't expect it to arrive so quickly It arrived new years eve and I went to bed a happy bunny. Great quality and lovely colour.”

“I bought a large wool throw which I absolutely love. It has a good weight, is very warm and beautiful to look at. Matches my deco perfectly. It inspired me to buy a second one for the sofa in conservatory and I chose merino wood two-tone throw. Light but just as warm. Very pleased with my purchases and would highly recommend.”

“Why do you advertise yourselves as a blanket company and then size your products as throws? I have a king sized bed for which I ordered an extra large throw, looking at the sizing recommendation diagram you have given. Very disappointed that it comes far too small for a bed because it is not in fact a blanket but a throw.”
