About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I’ve been looking for a wool blanket for our bed for ages and was put off by price but once I found this I was delighted. Brilliant price, made in the UK and beautiful. I am eyeing up another blanket for our caravan. I would definitely highly recommend.”

“I wanted a wool blanket for my spare room, to ensure guests keep warm. So many proved to be acrylic, easy to wash but not snug. The British Blanket company uses real wool from home-reared sheep. The colour choice is good, the materials are soft and my new green blanket is perfect.”

“Bought a blanket and a wrap for my daughter for Christmas. Not only were they delivered perfectly on time, even with the strikes, but the quality of both was wonderful. Compared to another blanket bought for me from a different company this year - TBBC blanket was thicker and softer, and I'll be buying more in the future.”
