About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“These scarves were a present for my grandparents and they loved them. The quality is very high - they are very fine, soft and light. My order was sent incredibly quickly and the delivery went smoothly. I would definitely return to this shop.”

“I ordered 2 blankets for us as I thought with energy costs going up, it would be a great way to keep warm while cutting the use of the heating. My daughter didn't want one as she said wool makes her itch ... just before Christmas, I had to order one for her as she kept stealing mine! These blankets are amazing, certainly are great for making you warm and cosy, the colours are gorgeous too. No hesitation in recommending the blankets or the company. Items arrived quickly and packaged well. Thank you.”

“I'm really pleased with the small throw I purchased for the cold winter nights, love the colour and pattern. There was plenty of choice of colours and patterns in different sizes, it was easy to order and arrived very quickly. It's great to order from a British 🇬🇧 company something that is produced here. I definitely recommend The British Blanket Company and will order from them again.”

“We discovered The BBCompany when we were in Orkney staying in a lovely cottage, where there were 2 gorgeous knee rugs supplied. As soon as I got home I looked up the BB company, and a short white after ordered a toffee blanket. I was so thrilled with my purchase , that I ordered another Alpine green blanket a few months later.”

“I was ordering a gift for my friend and accidentally ended up using my own postal address. When I emailed about the problem, the lady at the company was very prompt at replying and helpful in sorting the problem out so my friend got her Christmas present in time. Lovely blanket also.”
