About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I enjoyed reading everything about The British Blanket Company, their values, ideas, committment to their staff, life. I am extremely pleased with the customers service online replies, ordering and quick delivery of my order. I am so happy I waited to make my purchase, as it was the colour I was looking for in The Limited Edition, The Shipping Forecast 2022. I treated myself to an 'Ocean Ombre' Merino Throw, and the colours, pattern and weave, and weight are exactly what I needed . It adds a unique design, softness and luxury to my deco of a natural palette and colours of the ocean and the outdoors. Thank you as it makes me feel I am on vacation!”

“Was recommended by a family member to this company and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I purchased xl duck egg blue throw which arrived in days and was just perfect. “I love the blanket! Beautiful, warm and good quality for a reasonable price. I got the one with the windmills pattern. Communication was great and I had the feeling these people have really put their heart in this. They dispatched quickly and even the packaging was nice and with no plastic. Also, it's great too support local manufacturing! Great experience.”
