About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Never used this company before but so glad I have. The blanket I bought was of the highest quality and very soft. The colour yellow was so vibrant and looks fabulous on our double bed and a very good size. Delivery was prompt. Eco friendly packaging. Thank you very much.”

“I was looking for a blanket to use as a throw for a bed/sofa and came across this company. The blanket is made from a very good quality of wool and the colours are perfect for what we wanted. I had previously bought a very similar looking blanket from a different company but the quality was definitely inferior compared to this one from "The Blanket Company". The order arrived quickly. This will be my first place to look for similar items in the future.”

“I bought the Coast Ombre and the Ripple in Samphire (because I couldn't decide between the two). I'm so pleased I did! The Ombre Coast is thick, cosy and so soft (which for someone who normally finds wool scratchy, is a real treat). And it's huge! Plus, the pictures don't do the colours of the blanket justice. Stunning. The Ripple blanket is slightly thinner but equally lovely and the pattern really is quite special. I've now got blankets to carry me through the changing seasons. As it gets warmer, I'll swap the Ombre for the Ripple. Excellent quality products, plus fast delivery and spot on customer service. I'm so excited to see what the British Blanket Company does next.”

“I am thrilled with my new blanket. It fits beautifully over the end of a kingsize bed and is soft and cosy. All the colours are tempting and it was hard to choose. The company dealt graciously with our dithering and having to return blankets! In the end we went for smoke blue which is a lovely subtle shade and goes well in the bedroom. Thank you for your excellent service. Judy”
