About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

“The merino extra large blanket fits perfectly at the end of our super king bed . The dusty rose colour is smart and the weave of the blanket very good . It’s probably not quite as soft as expected and a weave other than herringbone would be a good option but overall delighted”

“I ordered 2 small throws and I am delighted with then. There was a bit of a mix up with delivery which was not the fault of the British blanket company but they dealt with it speedily and fixed it. Most impressed.”

“We received our blankets and and are so pleased. Really lovely quality and you can feel they will just get softer with use. After reading the help to choose which wool is best, which was extremely helpful. I chose the rainbow strip wool XL throw and my husband chose the yellow and grey semaphore throw. The weight is perfect to feel so cozy. Great on the bed or snuggling on the sofa. We find the blankets keep you lovely and warm without over heating you. I think my daughter would like the merino lambs wool, just being that extra bit softer. So we will be back for more! Thankyou for such beautiful blankets 🥰”
