About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

“This was the first purchase I have made from the British Blanket Company. I’m a huge fan of scarves, especially in this colder weather. They have a lovely scarf collection is some surprising and rather beautiful colour combinations. They’re made from lightweight lambs wool, thus allowing the skin to breathe, proving to be very comfortable and warm for the wearer.”

“The blankets I ordered for each of our dining room chairs perfect. They are soft and natural, lovely to the touch and exactly the right size. A great find.”

“Excellent quality and morals. The only issue I had was plastic packaging which the blanket was wrapped in, though plastics can be hard to replace I feel companies should make more of an effort (I've seen some companies make more effort than others) Otherwise I do highly recommend.”

“We first came across the British Blanket Company when staying at a hotel in Frome and there was one on the end of the bed as a throw. It was great to put over our feet when sitting on the bed watching TV and/or reading. It was incredibly soft and warm. As soon as we got home my wife ordered one for us which gets lots of use just covering from the thighs down while reading on the sofa.”
