“I graduated from the online Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). The layout of the program is very organized and it informs you; from the very beginning, of your course outline for each unit and what is expected of you. I used the course outline to make a checklist of each unit and assignments to keep track of my timing. A tip to know is that you can't work on 2 assignments at the same time. Your assignment needs to be corrected and at a passing grade before you can start your next assignment, so don't wait to do you assignment until the end of the program or close to your course deadline. Even though the course is online, there is plenty of materials/websites/readings given for each unit and study topics that make it helpful and resourceful. I enjoyed the program, especially that I can do it at my own pace. I have already started to teach English classes and Love my job. It's great to apply all I've learned into the classroom.”

“I am quite happy with The TEFL Academy. I did the combination Level 5 (168 hours) course and found it very educational. I would recommend The Tefl Academy to anyone who would like to start teaching English as a Foreign Language. All the staff at The Tefl Academy are very friendly and they were very patient with me. “I enjoyed the tuition I received from the TEFL Academy. As a practicing teacher, I found the concepts covered provided me with a much more in-depth understanding of the English language and how to teach it. I did the 20 hour face-to-face course, which was run very well. Marking times for assignments were relatively quick. I would definitely recommend this course to any prospective ESL teachers.”

“I won't lie. It was tough. The modules were easy enough but the assignments drove me crazy! I've never made things like lesson plans and stuff so it was tough. This being said, I'm not mad that it was tough. It made me really try hard to make the assignments as good as I could, and to really put my all in to them. I'm glad I've finally gotten my TEFL and can be on my way to teaching English as a foreign language in another country! Thank you to The TEFL Academy for being a great resource to learn these things. I took the Level 5 168 hour TEFL course!”

“I took a 168 hours online TEFL course and it has exceeded my expectations. The e-learning platform was easy to use and I enjoyed studying from the comfort of my home, at my own pace. I've learned A LOT about being a teacher - especially through completing the necessary assignments, that were challenging but fair. My overall experience with this company has been great - everyone was very professional and I didn't encounter any problems. Highly recommend!”

“I followed the TEFL Academy Level 5 course, it takes you clearly, step by step through the course with interactive tests to confirm that you have understood each lesson. Three assignments to pass but interesting and rewarding. Helpful assignment markers give you positive feedback to enable you to improve throughout the course. Provides you with everything you need to become a qualified TEFL teacher. I am happy to recommend this course.”

“I currently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). The coursebook is detailed and helpful and the content was adequate. The course has YouTube tutorials which introduces each topic which is thoughtful and gives an overview of what you are about to be covering. I enjoyed that after every unit there was an opportunity to test myself with the knowledge and content learnt. The content is easy to understand and is of an exceptional level. The course provides templates for all the assignments and what to sub,it including a rubric so that you are aware of what you are being assessed on which is highly accommodating. The course tutors are extremely friendly and give you feedback regarding how to improve your assignment if you may have misunderstood an element of instruction. The coursework scope is broad and entails several examples. The one thing they could have focused on was providing more tutorials on the phonetic chart as I was slightly confused. Furthermore, they could have provided an easier way to get through the content like for example, rather make an "exercise book" to download which we can go through instead of splitting it into so many parts. Nevertheless, the course is well structured and easy to follow/understand. It also explains the content in detail. This was a pleasant journey and if you have correct time management , you will be able to finish the course before 6 months !”
