“The tefl academy has now opened up so many doors for me with regards to a new career. You are able to complete it in the comfort of your own home and also getvthe relevant help you need online. I've learnt a lot and have recommended it to everyone I speak to about it”

“I've got to thank my friend Michelle Jordaan. Had it not been for her I probably would have put this course off for another year. I had absolutely no idea what to expect with the online part as well as the weekend workshop. After the workshop I've gained amazing friends and it was so good to hear and connect with people who share the similar/same passion in wanting to teach overseas and enrich the lives of other ppl and travel the world. Also the admin staff were so good in responding to emails and requests for extensions and getting my assignments marked on the last min. Thank you so much. Absolutely amazing course and I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family!!!”

“I felt that I have been given the necessary tools to be prepared in front of my first students. The interactive online learning centre is great, easy to navigate, to learn from and a test after each module is asked you to make sure you are on the right page every single step of the way. The instructor on the 2 days site was superb. very communicative and well knowledgeable. The feedback I got all along the way also help me tremendously to gain confidence and guidance. If TEFL teaching is what you want to do, I highly recommend The TEFL Academy”

“The course content was easy to follow and the acitivities accompanying the lessons were very useful for student comprehension. The classroom course was helpful to out everything in to practise and it was great to meet like-minded people of various backgrounds all brought together through the Tefl academy. The many classroom course locations were a reason for choosing to study with the Tefl academy. I am delighted with my experience whilst studying for his qualification.”

“I did the TEFL academy online program, it was really informative and helpful. Although online requires a lot of self motivation, this program made it doable and easy to pickup where you left off. I am glad I did this program and I really appreciate the help for CV and cover letters for after completion.”

“Initially I found the grammar part of the course very difficult as I left school 30+ years ago and had forgotten it all. But after some intensive revision I passed the grammar modules and the rest of the modules quickly followed. The assignments were not easy which I thought was good otherwise there would not have been a sense of achievement in passing the course. The assignments were also useful in preparing you for, hopefully soon, your first teaching post.”

“The site is user-friendly and that is very important. They've even updated it and upgraded during my course. Huge plus for making it even better! The course itself (I've done 120-hour TEFL) has given me a huge amount of important knowledge and I feel very confident now and ready to teach. Everyone in The TEFL Academy is very helpful and they always get back to you very quickly when you need help.”

“I am very happy with my improvements as an educator I have gained with The TEFL Academy. Taking the TEFL course has been an option for me for a while now and I am very happy that I chose The TEFL Academy. I feel I have grown a lot as a student and as an educator. I have learned a lot from the program and I am a lot more confident with my ability to teach English as a foreign language. It was a great decision to pursue this certification and I do not regret it one bit. The TEFL Academy is an excellent institution at preparing it’s students for job placement in the TEFL field. I highly recommend The TEFL Academy and can’t wait to see what door they have opened for me.”

“Exceptional value and a very concise course covering every basis of the English language. The course has given me the confidence to teach English and to feel that I can honestly enlighten my students minds with knowledge, skills and language ability. I can open the world to my students to be a new person with a new language. Every skill and tool is offered in the course and has enabled me to make a difference.”

“A comprehensive, easy to follow and an enjoyable course to follow. The online format was excellent, enabling you to practise and build up knowledge as you progressed. The end of module tests and end of course assignments are cleverly designed to really test your understanding and the skills you have learnt. As a 'returner' to studying, I found the format good. It enabled you to go repeat what you might need to and to work entirely at your own pace. The course was certainly no walk in the park but it has been a very worthwhile and rewarding experience!”

“The 120 hour TEFL course was very well run, the online portal was easy to use and the course materials were great. The 20 hour face to face was so helpful, i think i would recommend attending the face to face earlier on if possible as found the online part much easier after attending the face to face element. i would recommend the TEFL Academy.”
