“I have taken the opportunity of studying the TEFL level 5 combined course during lockdown and to my surprise even as a English speaker by nature, I found it challenging and quiet educational. Made me realize there's a lot more to learn. The course contain a variety of materials and activities that favored my learning experience. I would highly recommend this course for those who are interested”

“The TEFL Academy is the best option if you want to get certified for being an ESL teacher. The course is very well organised, and the assignments are designed to guide you in completing them with ease! “The TEFL Academy is a fantastic organisation which provides amazing support to anyone completing any one of their numerous courses. There is a TEFL programme here for everyone; choose your level, choose your hours, choose your speciality in their range of top-up courses. I thoroughly enjoyed our in-person weekend as part of the combined Level 5 course, where we spent 20hours being given a crash-course in all things tevel, which we would then cover ourselves in a lot more detail as part of the online course. Both the in-person teacher and the online TEFL team were always there to help and support us, and provided invaluable feedback. Real-life experience was gained through in-person teaching practice and online lesson plans. I could not have asked for a more in-depth curriculum. The programme is so accessible and relevent, and I could not recommend it enough!”

“I decided to do my Level 5 TEFL Course through the TEFL Academy during the lock down period. The course was very Informative and well put together. The course covers everything that you would need to know it you're wanting to become a TEFL teacher. I would recommend the TEFL Academy to anyone who wants to complete their TEFL certificate.”

“I found the TEFL academy level 5 course enjoyable and informative, easy to navigate and academically challenging. The only fault that I found with the course is that students are not entitled to a second attempt on the assignments is they pass first time. I passed my first assignment with a merit, my second and third assignments were passed, but missed a merit by just a few points. Students who do not pass an assignment on the first submission receive feedback from the academy, with this feedback, these students are able to resubmit. If I had received feedback on my last two assignments I would have certainly scored a merit or maybe even a distinction.”

“I have just completed my Level 5 TEFL course. I think it is a well thought out course, covering all the basics needed to qualify me to teach English online. The resources that were linked and explained during the course, will help me greatly in my online teaching career. I found the TEFL academy staff to be professional and their response time was very quick. This was worth my time and my money!”

“I signed up for the Level 5 TEFL online course (168 hours) with The TEFL Academy (TTA) because I found that for the price I paid, it was very worth it. I was looking for an accredited course that I could complete online, especially during this pandemic. There were plenty of online courses that were priced much lower, but did not carry the same level of quality, qualification or accreditation as TTA. I signed up with TTA after plenty of extensive research. The course is well-structured and the assignments were not a walk in the park! I received very constructive feedback which I can use to work on becoming a better TEFL teacher. Highly recommended academy and course.”

“The TEFL course was comprehensive, with lots of useful material for start-up teachers. It helps you think more closely on what is needed to engage students and what is expected from you as a teacher from admin, giving templates for lesson plans and such. I would encourage anyone wanting to become a teacher to take this course.”
