“I completed the 168 hours combined TEFL course in May 2022 and found that the course materials are sufficient for preparing you as a new ESL teacher. There are lots of course materials to sip through and course materials are relevant to the course aim. The course materials cover most ESL language teaching areas - Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. End-of-Unit tests are relevant to the Unit contents and achieve their aims for new students, regardless of their English level. The assignments are quite long but very helpful to prepare you as a new ESL teacher. However, if you follow the given instructions in the assignments, you will be fine. The difficulty level of the 3-assignments is of course below the University level. So, if you are a University grad, you are good to go. I feel more confident being a new ESL teacher after completing this course. The 20-hour in-class teaching practice portion of this course will even boost your confidence as a new ESL teacher. In a nutshell, I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to be an ESL teacher.”

“This was an excellent online course. Provides you with all the necessary materials and skills to learn how to teach English. It consists of 10 units, all of which are well written, and presented clearly, with a test at end of each unit that helps you measure your progress, as well as keep up your motivation. There are also 3 assignments (A, B and C) which are sent to tutors, and you get feedback on all of them. The tutors are also there to answer any questions you may have and I found them all very helpful and encouraging. Be sure to take your time with each unit, and do not leave everything until the last minute. The 6-month access to the course is for a reason, you cannot rush through the course and learn properly. It is harder than you think. Speaking English is one thing, teaching it to someone who doesn't speak it is another!”

“The TEFL course is comprehensive, methodical and is on a platform that accommodates the necessary support and coaching. The course is detailed, which covers every aspect of what a teacher must know to be equipped to teach students of all age groups. The activities, assignments and course ensures that the teacher has the required knowledge to be able to teach proactively and is in a position to ensure the students get the proper foundation for specific lessons and topics. The course is amazing, which requires dedication and research to meeting the high level of required knowledge based teaching abilities. I would recommend this course to any individual who aims to be an educator.”

“I had a great experience with TEFL Academy when completing the Level 5 course. The course is well structured and includes great materials and resources for teaching English. “I took the Level 3 TEFL Course as part of my pre-retirement planning. I found the course a little challenging, bearing in mind that I have not been in a teaching situation for quite some time, but the training was easy to comprehend. I would recommend this course or the level 5 TEFL, for anyone thinking of breaking into international English teaching.”

“I recently completed the TEFL level 5 online course. I loved every moment. The coursework was interesting and challenging. I've always wanted to have a teaching qualification, even just as a back-up or fall back. I learned so much, and had such a great journey with the TEFL Academy. To top this all - just when I thought things couldn't get better - once I'd completed the level 5 course, I was able to use a coupon that I'd received with my enrolment to apply for a 30-hour online teaching top up course, which I am currently busy with. The fact that the course is so flexible makes it really great for anyone wanting to study part time. I would certainly recommend the TEFL Academy to anyone who wants to teach English.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Acadamy. It provides comprehensive information to teach English as a 2nd language covering both active English use such as spoken English and written English as well as passive skills such as reading and listening. The tutors are highly competent and knowledgeable. They are also prompt in answering queries and marking the assignments.”
