“I had plenty of people saying just do the cheapest course over the years and that's fine but this certificate is the most accepted throughout the world and is of a high standard. Passing was a real achievement!”

“I was looking for a new certification to boost my career and after too much research I've found this amazing course that is TEFL Level 5. I completed it online, at my own pace and I really enjoyed that the course is straightforward and especially the unit about lesson planning. I feel that this course taught in about 3 months what I've taken 3 years to learn at University. I'm so glad I took the course and I would highly recommend it to English teachers who are looking for a certificate that allows them to teach in other countries.”

“I was enrolled in the Level 5 course. The course is informative. I did learn a lot about the English language and language teaching. It offers fun activities and simple tests. The design of the website is appealing and easy to navigate. However, I sometimes felt there was just too much course content in some instances and this became quite boring or tedious to get through. A month since completion and I'm yet to get any responses to job applications, so I'm not sure yet if the course was worth it and if I have to spend more money on top-up courses.”

“I was very happy with the entire Level 5 TEFL course. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn to teach English. It was a good challenge and I learned a great deal. The course was well organized and I liked the ability to complete it at my own pace. I feel prepared to go forward after completing the Level 5 course.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course with The TEFL Academy. I am currently a secondary school teacher in the UK but fancied a change and decided to study this course whilst continuing with my career in my day-to-day life as I have been considering moving abroad. I loved that this course was something I could study in the evening and around my current role. The course is very informative, providing lots of advice and descriptions related to the various topics. I particularly enjoyed participating in the end of unit exams, as it gave me drive and something to work towards each week/couple of weeks and provided me with a sense of achievement once I had completed them. There are lots of resources and further reading/research activities and the coursework projects were graded and returned extremely quickly, I was very impressed and would recommend studying this course.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course with The TEFL Academy. This course is broken down into the perfect bite-size pieces. It's really easy to understand and very thorough. The support is excellent and the feedback on your assignments is very detailed. I loved this course and after completion felt confident to start teaching. I also love the fact that they offer extra short courses to specialise in the areas you'd like to learn more about.”

“I'll be honest. Being a native English speaker, I thought I'd fly through this course with ease. I didn't! The course is very in-depth and prepares you well for your role as a teacher. The course at first seems a little expensive, especially considering all the 'Groupon' type TEFL courses which can be picked up for next to nothing. Well don't be fooled, they're not worth the paper they're printed on. You get what you pay for with this course. There is a good reason why it's rated amongst the best TEFL courses out there, and why the certificate is so widely recognised and well accredited, both in the UK and USA. If you want a TEFL qualification and are willing to put in the work, don't sell yourself short by doing one that won't be recognised in the real world. Go with The TEFL Academy.”

“Although my learning journey with Tefl Academy was longer than I had planned due to personal and health reasons, I managed to complete and pass the course. The Units are easy to work through and the quizzes at the end test whether you have understood the content of the units. The assignments can take some time to complete. However, if you work hard, dedicate your time wisely to the assignments and follow the instructions given, then you can complete them successfully. I would recommend Tefl Academy to anyone interested in pursuing a career in teaching English as a foreign language. There is always support available and the feedback given by tutors is valuable.”

“I found the TEFL level 5 course (168 hours) very easy to navigate and very useful in terms of the learning material. As a teacher of 8 years, I still learnt new things through this course. The guidance received on how to go about doing your assignments is amazing and the feedback is very constructive. If you are committed you can get through the course in less than 3 months. I feel that I am equipped to start a new online teaching career.”

“I completed the Level 5 online course and the content was engaging and very informative. The assignments were a great challenge and I was delighted by the in-depth feedback. I applied to a teaching program on TTA's platform and my application was successful.
