“I found the TEFL course last year. When I applied I was a bit apprehensive at first, as I had never done an online course before. However once I started, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was easy to understand and easy to follow. The exercises help you to understand the information you learn. The course also covers aspects that you will come across in a real teaching job, so that you are thoroughly prepared to face any challenge you may face. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone waiting a change in career.”

“The course was well controlled with a high degree of integrity. The course material was well laid out, very informative and interesting. The test after each module ensured that a good understanding of the content had been attained. The end of course assessments were a great way of ensuring that one could go out on their own and meet the necessary requirements for planning a lesson be it listening, speaking , reading or writing. All together a good course which gave one a good sense of achievement thereafter.”

“I joined the TEFL academy in mid February 2017 and graduated with Distinction on the 1st May 2017. I left school nearly 35 years ago so this was a BIG learning curve for me. The course is structured really well and can learn at your own pace. I struggled with the grammar section as I had been away from the education system for a very long time, The 20 hour classroom activity was excellent in meeting other students at the same stage as yourself in the TEFL studying programme. I spent more then the 120 hours studying (but that was just me, trying to understand everything). I really enjoyed this course and was very happy when I got distinction awarded. IF I CAN DO THIS, SO CAN YOU !! I am now off to a school in Bangkok to teach Business English to young adult students all because, I now have my TEFL certification.”

“I am really happy with The TEFL Academy because the course is well built and students(especially online students) don't need to expect help from Tutors to explain any particular module. The End of Module assignments is really good which helped me to apply what I have learned from the 10 modules. Overall I am very much satisfied.”

“I definitely recommend The TEFL Academy. Their course material is excellent quality, and teaches the fundamental skills necessary to teach English as a foreign language. Outstanding service, the CV and cover letter guidance (free) is much appreciated. Absolutely loved the structure of the course, and the history and classroom management of TEFL. The course really covers everything you need, from lesson planning to choosing authentic materials (they provide you with many classroom activity ideas, resource links, lists of authentic materials, videos, etc.) and you will feel much more confident to teach once you have completed it. My overall experience with The TEFL Academy was a very pleasant one.”
