“Hello. The 168 hours is well worth the commitment of your time. I found the classroom session gave me a better prospective of how the theory can be put into practice. The teacher we had was amazing with a huge amount of experience and knowledge. It was great to meet like-minded people from various backgounds and different nationalities. The topics covered on the online platform is intuitive, challenging and detailed. The marking of my assignments was always quick and efficient, and the constructive feedback was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this course :-)”

“I finally completed my Level 5 168 hr TEFL course! It was a long road for me as I've been quite busy, but the support team made it very easy for me to complete the course at my own pace. Overall, the course offered a great deal of information (with additional sources for further learning) and they included mini quizzes and assignments to keep you engaged and motivated throughout your learning. I would highly recommend this course and I cant wait to see what happens next! The 20 hours in class learning was definitely my favourite.”

“I just completed the level 5 (168 hrs.) TEFL course at the TEFL Academy. The course content was detailed and precise. The lessons were engaging and interesting and gave me more insight into the nitty gritty of teaching. The assignments were well structured and helped to consolidate what was taught. I really enjoyed all the aspects of the course and strongly recommend it to anyone seeking for the opportunity to teach EFL abroad.”

“I have just finished the 168-hour Level 5 course and it was amazing. Every part of the course is very easy to understand and learn, same goes for the tests you need to do at the end of the lessons. I had no problems navigating through the course when i needed to find something specific and the support is very helpful when you need any assistance. It can take a bit longer for the team to grade the assignments but that is normal and I understand it is not an easy job. All in all it was an amazing experience for me and i definitely recommend it to anybody who is thinking about teaching English. :)”

“I've just finished the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). It is mostly on line, but also contains a face-to-face component, which is very valuable. The level of teaching and content is high, and the on-going value of the Further Information is immensurable. Give it a go, it's well worth it!”

“The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) is very professional and effectively organized. Teachers are available throughout the whole programme of study. Links to deepen the different explained topics are provided. Assignments are challenging but very interesting as they give you the opportunity to personalize what you have learnt and trainers give clear constructive feedback. A great experience for all those who want to look at the teaching profession with different eyes.”

“Have just completed my Level 5 TEFL 168-course and couldn't be happier with every aspect of it. The course was definitely challenging, but the pace at which the you move through the material if steady, and easy to follow. I opted for the combined course with 2 days in the classroom, this was also hugely beneficial to my knowledge/experience. Feedback for the assignments is fair and detailed. Overall, I think the course is well structured and extremely good value for money, with all the support you need.”

“I studied and completed the Level 5 TEFL Course and I'm more than happy to say that all of my expectations were met - and surpassed, to be honest. Judicious and reasonable; these are the words I would use to describe the difficulty level of the three assignments. The Level 5 TEFL Course is something that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who desires to teach English as a foreign language.”

“I finished the TEFL Level 5 Course (168 hours) last week, and now am waiting for the certification itself :) Overall, it was a great experience. The people were helpful whenever I was having any issues online, gave detailed notes on the assignments, and the units cover absolutely everything you might need to know for teaching English. Now I feel prepared and confident about teaching others. So definitely recommend!”

“The TEFL Academy is a valuable course, which offers an introduction and subsequent exploration of the broad category 'teaching English'. The course is highly weighted to online content, which can pose a problem for those that have issues learning independently, or struggle to understand certain modules, especially the phonology sections. Strung together with end-of-unit tests and three assignments, the course isn't simply a point-click-certify experience. You will need to prove your comprehension and retention of the module information. Most importantly, the assignments will test you on the core skills you will need to develop in order to become an effective teacher. I would recommend enrolling in the Combined course option, as you will be invited to a 20-hour seminar. This gave the course greater depth and added an interactive element to a predominantly independent experience. The seminar also acted as a space in which questions and issues that have arisen during individual study can be clarified to the entire group. Ultimately, considering the cost of the course, the service is excellent. The price of the TEFL Academy Level 5 course is beyond affordable, so it would be unfair to expect everything to be perfect. However, the course is enjoyable and rewarding, giving you a solid foundation on which to build your teaching legacy!”

I would highly recommend this course, it's very well structured: from the online course to the 20 hours contact time, which support the 3 assignments extremely well. Another thing I really liked was the feedback you get on the assignments and that you get the opportunity to improve them with very clear instructions. It's easy to do alone but if you do need help you can easily ask through the ticket system.”

“It's a well organised course consisting of 11 units. The chapters are easily to follow and the unit end tests are in relation to the content of the chapter. The 3 assignments have an interesting topic and prepare you to teach students on beginner, intermediate and advanced level. The grading and feedback was always clearly communicated and provided in a timely manner (max 5 days). During the weekend practice hand on tips were provided to teach monolingual and bilingual classes, you learners and different lesson structures were demonstrated by the lecturer (10 hours just went by real quick).”
