“Perfect introduction to the world of teaching English as a foreign language - after completing the Level 5 online course I feel ready to take on a classroom! The course content itself is in depth and covers everything you need to know, and the assignments help you start to put it all into practice, with really helpful feedback along the way. The actual TEFL website also has so many good resources for finding a job, applying and figuring out where/what you want to do with your qualification. Would definitely recommend for a first time teacher.”

“I've found the TEFL Level 5 course intriguing from the very beginning, all the way to the very end of unit 10. The content is very clear and entertaining enough to keep studying for hours without getting tired. The duration of the course cost me a substantial effort because of my age I think. That makes me even more proud of my acconplishment. The online support was very swift and helpful. It has definitely taken me to the level of a qualified and confident teacher. “I purchased the TEFL level 5 course and was fully happy with the content within the course. There was so much information on how to make your classes more enjoyable and how to grade your language which I thought was extremely helpful! The course also provided so many ideas on games you can play with your students and suggestions on which companies you can apply to! Great stuff.”

“If you have never learned English teaching methods before, this is the place to go! With well-organized course structure, I was guided every step of the way and detailed feedback on each of my assignments helped me understand how to improve my lesson plan. I'm very confident that I will be able to give my future students well-planned, effective lessons. Highly recommended. About two weeks after the completion of the course, I recieved the certifican by mail. I really appreciate their prompt response too.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL course and I was quite happy with the course overall. I think the course was very thorough, but also managed to cover a wide range of topics. I do wish they reviewed grammar a bit more since I was not taught grammar well enough in school, and I also wish they shared the correct answers for the quizzes so I could more easily learn from my mistakes. But honestly, I am a college graduate and I found the course harder than expected (in a good way!). The reading and unit tests are not that difficult, but the assignments do require quite a bit of work. However, I did pass all my assignments on the first try and received very prompt responses from tutors and admin whenever I reached out (within a couple days). The tutors were very patient with my questions and thorough in their replies, which I really appreciated. Overall, I think this is a really good course and while you will definitely have to do some outside work/studies if you want to become an expert in any of the subjects (such as grammar), I think this is a great place to start your career as an English teacher. Whether you end up using your certification or not, it's a great and rather affordable way to get a taste of what teaching English entails. Thank you!”

“When I decided to take a level 5 English course, I had several pages to choose from. After researching and reflecting, I decided to choose TEFL Academy, as it had excellent references and offered the same benefits but at a better price. I'm so glad I chose them! The course is structured in a way that flows effortlessly, and all the possible problems one may encounter, both with the material and the technology, have been predicted and explained in the first units, as well as in the introductory PDFs. I had no need to contact the tutors for any reason throughout the course. I felt very comfortable studying online and all my doubts were resolved within the course material itself. I would definitely choose them again!”

“I'm so happy I chose to do my TEFL qualification with The TEFL Academy. Not only is it Qualifi and Ofqual regulated, a requirement for most international jobs, but in 6 months I managed to achieve a level 5 diploma. The online nature of the course allowed me to study from anywhere in the world, so I was able to complete it around my current work. The communication was also great, with staff answering any questions I had via email promptly. This encouraged me to sign up for the course and I was suitably impressed with the content and style of teaching. I particularly enjoyed the in-person class I did in Edinburgh, where I got to meet others on the course and had a practical learning day where I utilised the theory from the course. The confidence I gained from the course enabled me to apply for my dream job; teaching English in South Korea. I'm pleased to report I have been offered a job! I couldn't have done it without The TEFL Academy. Thank you so much!”

“I read that the course usually takes 4 to 6 months to complete, but I made it a priority and worked on it full-time, finishing the entire program in just four weeks. I received a job offer immediately afterward. While searching for jobs, I was able to understand all the industry lingo, strategies, and more in the job descriptions, thanks to the comprehensive training provided by Level 5. I was so impressed with the course that I referred my daughter, and she has just started it! I'm hoping that she will experience travel and teaching.”
