About The Saw Centre:

Industrial wholesale and supply for businesses, tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts. We operate an impressive state of the art CNC factory which allows us to sharpen saw blades, regrind tools and manufacture solid carbide tools with the highest quality and efficiency possible.

Our skilled staff can also weld bandsaw blades to any size. UK wide sales and distribution including our own fleet of vans which currently service businesses in Scotland. Our Glasgow based shop is an Authorised Stihl Dealer and Repair Centre. We also stock a wide range of power tools, accessories and consumables from many well known manufacturers, we also have larger industrial machinery on display such as bandsaws, edge banders, spindle moulders, panel saws and so much more.

“Customers must be assured that you match the service provided by a face to face retailer such as S/F. Whilst you match on price it is just a pity that the delivery charges are added after completing all purchase aspects instead of rationalising earlier.”

“I sent two circular saw blades and a pair of planer blades for Sharpening on Tuesday and had text message saying returning on Friday (tacking number supplied). Tracking indicated parcel had been delivered, but not at my address. Phoned The Saw Centre, apparently wrong tracking number supplied. The items actually came back on Monday. If it wasn't for this l would have given five stars. Overall a good service and the blades look fine.”

“Very good customer service. I had an urgent requirement for a very specific sized router bit. Which I needed for a job for the following week. Unfortunately it got mislaid prior to dispatch. I phoned and the problem was sorted out very quickly- with a replacement bit despatched direct over the weekend from Trend. Which I received on time. Thanks for the prompt resolution.”

“The online service was good. No issues through the process. 1 star dropped for delivery. By before 12 get delivery next day. Waited all day sat and nothing. Checked who courier were and found it to be parcel force...who stop work at 1 on sat and no Sunday delivery. So arrived by 11 on Monday. Otherwise all went well.”

Hi Eoin, delivery times are for working days only so the courier delivered on the next available working day which in this case was a Monday. We can understand your frustration; in the age of Amazon deliveries being so instantly available but it's simply not possible for smaller companies to compete whilst also giving you free delivery on your order. Being based in Glasgow yourself you would have been able to collect this item if you preferred. We still appreciate your feedback, thank you for taking the time to write it for us!

“The process is nice and simple, and the service is fast. I did have to remove burrs with a fine water stone though, which I hadn't expected. Would use again though due to ease of service.”

We did have some trouble receiving your saw and many others in the range from Stihl in Germany due to the lockdown period and courier restrictions. Apologies for the delay and thank you for leaving a review which reflects your experience.

“good solid piece of kit, easy to assemble. Advertised as 48 hour delivery, then got extended to 72 hours.eventually received a week later.personally I am not bothered. Very pleased with the all-round service.”
